I wanted to add some examples in there (albeit I probably should have during the Hammer of Dawn section) but I felt that since the trilogy isn't over yet I didn't want to speak too quickly about its themes and relationships! I enjoy the games and their stories, sure it had some issues, but they are still fine, fun games!

The whole symbolism of the locusts being far more human than anyone within the setting would care to admit and how they mirror and exaggerate the most brutal elements of humanity is something I’ve really come to appreciate. I think I would definitely look forward to other video essay like uploads from you. If I might suggest a potential topic, it would be on Anya as a character both in terms of her characterisation and what she symbolises. Call it something like “No one’s more ride or die than Anya Stroud” or something Cus God did she put up with a lot before she got what she really deserved with Marcus lol.

Also, because of mommy issues but considering the legend that her mother was that was never not going to happen lol. And don’t forget the greatest indignity of them all, the fact that her Regular uniform at control had mandatory heels that she was still having to wear during the evacuation of Jacinto. 💀 Marcus is the Goat, but he borderline doesn’t deserve that man.
I really feel like gears of war should have ended with number 3 they had so many options for prequels whole games on pendulum wars with Marcus n dom. Bc gears 4 and 5 basically makes everything they scarified was for nothing marcuses dad dom all of them died for nothing
While I have enjoyed Gears 4 and 5, I think prequels could only last so long especially in the Locust War era! I think off-shoot games work like Judgment, E-Day, Tactics, but trilogy type games would have to be something in the future! It just adds more tension since you are unsure of the outcome! Please I wouldn't say Adam's dad failed or anyone, humanity still survived and the world's biggest threat (The Lambent) were defeated for good!

I think it'll start with a long prologue cutscene, maybe a Pendulum Wars battle towards the end of the war! Then I think it'll end with us losing Kalona District (the city the game takes place in) only a few days after E-Day! I could envision us seeing Lambent in a cutscene of the Locust down in the Hollows, but doubt we'll fight them in the campaign! Adam will for sure be in the game I bet, but he was also mentioned in the Gears 5 story I think! But his story ended so it makes sense it would be subsided for the new characters!

Would be maybe interesting in E-Day to play as a Gorasni soldier while Karn’s forces invaded, unveiling the Gorasni forces throwing everything they had at the locust before being overrun and defeated as a way to display the sense of unstoppability the locust were creating all over Sera.
I would LOVE to play as a UIR squad and get some much wanted lore, characters and story arcs! Their basically the last faction that is still a bit of a mystery!

@@CarmineForever it’ll be like lone wolf in halo reach where more locust continue to emerge and it won’t end until your character is ready to either go down but not out or die, implying their desperate ditch to survive before the cutscene plays showing your forces finally being overrun as gorasnya finally falls to the locust horde.
I am a simple man I see big muscles up people trying to keep each other alive I cry and smile ! But when I found out that qeen Myra had been tortured and tested I can feel why she used the locust to kill almost every human they met including children and citizen . But just like darth vador that’s no excuse for your actions now you die . I really hate how most of the characters are either fighting to keep their home to get to or fighting for family . Really is ….a sad 😔story in the end for everyone .
