All the trailers and promos I saw for Daybreak when it came out made it look really dumb and I didn't even end up watching it until after it had already been cancelled. I was so pissed when I got to episode 7, cause I looked online to see when season 2 would be out, only to find out that there wasn't gonna be a season 2. It made watching the last few episodes a very bittersweet experience
Honestly if this show had more moments like this it wouldn't have been canceled. It had such a really good premise but they did very little with it and just played it safe. Its a shame cause it looked like towards the final few episodes the writers and director started to hit their stride

@@PBstrikers I mean, if they did choose to direct it. They could've showed the fight, and kept that part a mystery. Like they didn't have to show us who shot Turbo in the middle of the fight. For example, once the fight was over with, they could've had the jocks run out of the mall, and then that's when everyone realizes that Turbo was shot.
I felt that way too at first but after thinking about it and rewatching the series I feel like they made a good choice not showing the fight. The episode after this (Turbo's episode) I thought was more entertaining and fit the show better. Plus realistically they probably couldn't find a good way to shoot the mall fight scene and went a different direction as a result. I feel like what they did instead of showing it was pretty smart and in line with the show's humor.
