I noticed when I play a different faction and have an enemy faction I used to have as my own, it uses my designs as well. Then it has it's AI bonuses too. Made a faction that specializes in movement, but when I played against it, it had unreal movement I could hardly deal with.
There are still some bugs in the game unfortunately. For example, no volley for higher tier missiles or shock troopers tech not doing anything. But Galciv 4 community is awesome and people fixed many bugs themeselves. If you are interested, you can use Draver's mod bundle and if nothing else just install those bugfixing mods.
Good episode. It is somewhat annoying when the AI is using your designs against you... You're also lucky they didn't use these ships with Precursor Particle Beams on them!
I did think of that and I am grateful. It's bad enough. I may have to remove the frogs from the pool until cloaking gets a patch though. I can fight it but the AI I think will always struggle.
The war rages on. I always look forward to the next episode.

I think its a great feature that I've never noticed before.

Aren't the cloaking part of a DLC? Isn't it possible to disable it by disabling the DLC?
Does hex grid help you in some way ?
It helps me count out movement sometimes, space out starbases optimally etc.
