There was an in accurate statement at time stamp 6:20. You mention that Curves can replace Channel Mixer. It cannot. Channel mixer mixers RGB channels. For example, if the total value is maintained at 100% in the channel mixer for all R, G & B values, you can mix and change colors without effecting the neutrals. Which is not possible with curves.
That was really really educational. I dont think I have come across a curved tutorial like this so in depth since I have been watching photoshop tutorials. Thanks. I will be saving this to watch again until I get the best grasp of it.

Hello Sergio, Suhail Suhail is absolutely correct and we hit like on that comment. Sorry it was not clear that we agree to his statement. Some Channel Mixer effects are also not possible in curves.
