I will say this about Tendo: I do understand why he has the personality that he has after watching the episodes. Doesn't erase his faults, but I can at least have a better understanding why. Plus, if anything else, he does get defeated somewhat in the movie so there's that for you.
Reason why Tendou is so arrogant is because of his adopted grandmother who told him that he walks the path of heaven and he rules over all He always said so. "Obaachan ga iteita: Ore wa ten no michi o iki, tsubete O tsukasadoru otoko." I'm sure you know what that means.

In terms of relatable I think Tendou is less like the person you are, and more like you want to be. He's good at lots of things, and confident. For me I wish I was more of both, and as far as learning Japanese, I hope to come across as very confident when I speak it.

He also had a cool motorcycle. The show went on, creating many series norms like the Rider Kick and the secondary rider, and now, 45 years later, the current series is Kamen Rider Ghost. Despite the name and obvious theme, it's still managed to stick to an insect motif. I highly recommend it.
I was actually fine with Tendou as he was behaving like that because of his upbringing,however the one that I didn't like was that "rich " guy who got the sasori zector. I know he is a well developed character, but the " I don't know anything about life outside my castle " made me dislike him. Oh and then there is Daisuke that guy is the enemy of women, trying to date them with that stupid speech that he can never finish without help.

He barely showed any emotion even after his sister was taken to another dimension. His facial expression never changed. I think it was episode 26 before he even raised his voice. He was very boring and one dimensional. I liked the other riders in the show more than I liked the main one. I'm glad you loved the series. I still enjoyed it, but right now it's at the bottom of the rider series I've watched so far. To each his own.

He grew as the series progressed and it takes a personality like his to put up with a guy like Tendou, XD. Plus honestly, I love Gatack's kick better too (sorry Kabuto ; ;), heh.

He was the same in the last episode as he was in the first. The only real difference was he was okay with kagami helping him, even though most of time he was still like "stay out of my way, I don't need you, don't butt in." It made the character just boring.

Bjorn Maene That's actually just about right since if you want to resell the CSM drivers later they're worth a bit more. I got the CSM W driver and people that I have mentioned it to have actually offered me $400 for it when I got it 2 years ago for $180.

I went into this series after catching up with the latest episode of Ex-Aid which I got into after I watched your review of the level1-2-3 figures. I must say yeah, it's hard to watch this series when the main protagonist is an arrogant douche with no change or comeuppance. It is a bit bearable, though, if you think of Kagami as the main protagonist. It is also worth mentioning that it is totally satisfying when he finally gets to be a kamen rider.
Seriously, what the hell? It's starting to annoy me that there are all these "adult collector items" that would have been normal toys a few years back. Do you have to be an adult to buy good toys now? I'm only 12, but that doesn't mean I cant appreciate a good toy. I have to go out of my way to find these deals online for a crap ton of money to buy a decent toy just because I don't wanna deal with all these crappy one step changers or other toys that are crapily painted and made of bad materials. Am I the only kid who likes good toys nowadays?
