Just visited this hotel tonight. The pool and the trees in the atrium are all gone. Replaced with carpeting and eating/lounging areas. It used to be unique and enchanting but now it looks generic.
Looks like a good place for an overnight. I'm planning to take a week off in Fall after the whole Labor Day hubbub is over. My bucket list is to go through states I've never been. So I'll be riding fro Seattle to LA.
Unfortunately not this trip. I filmed a few elevators there when I went in 2016, but not in my most recent visit. Hopefully If I can get back to Seattle again, I can film all of the old elevators at that campus.
What size beds were your room? I just booked a 2-queens room hopeful done with re-modeling. When I booked they said no bar or pool at this time. I'm okay with that as I am staying there for a conference.

They were Queens. And sadly, I got word from another user the pool was removed
