Give me feedback! The goal here isn't to be a playlist that steal other people's work, it's more of a recommendation list so you can support the original creators. That's why I decided to talk over the music (rather than go for only on-screen text). Is this format fun and something you want to see more of? Should I tweak something for the next one?
This concept is awesome! Individual game tracks don't get recognized by TH-camrs enough. The talky bits are definuitely important,, to give context to why you like them. The only real feedback I can give is that the music clips might be too long. You wanna include the cool bits, of course, but for my part, I found myself skipping ahead after a while. I'm not saying rapid-fire through tracks, but maybe make it just a little bit snappier. Also, if available, I think you should also leave a link in the description to each track so that if one sounds interesting, we can go listen to them at our leasure.

Very happy to hear that the concept itself is fun as I want to explore it more myself as well. 😁 The length of the music clips was tricky as I also needed to find the best part to put the voiceover at for all the music. The Metroid Prime one really got hit by the length problem (I even added a little text snippet in there for the observant ones) but I just had to have the last part of the track included and I want to alter the songs as little as possible to honor the creator's intent, so cuts was out of the question (this time). I'll take the feedback with me! 👍
I also haven’t played Sea of Stars. But I’ve been wanting to. The opening 10 seconds of that song made it jump up my to play list. Also I watch TH-cam on 2x speed 95% of the time. But gotta watch at standard to pay respect to video game music and the Teedyan 🔥
These first 10 seconds of the song is insanely catchy so I totally get that. I'm happy that the video (and music) convinced you to slow down for this one as it's definitely best enjoyed that way. 😁
You missed Chained echoes! I called octopath 2, sea of stars and chained echoes my modern trilogy of pixel rpg. They are just so good and have an amazing soundtrack.
Ohh, so you're telling me that Chained Echoes is up there as well? I still haven't played the game, but this comment definitely made it jump upwards a few steps in the backlog.
