I cannot wait to get my grubby little hands on one of these !!! I have three Alvarez'now hanging on the wall and they are absolutely AMAZING for a reasonably priced guitar !
I want to purchase a LT66 or an LF 60 burst but the Australian agents say no new stock till May and no Laureates in our shops except a dread which shows where we sit in the scheme of things...... Whatever, congrats on the Laureate success; I have to say your use of the internet and particularly this channel has been pivotal IMO in that success. One comment I will make is the "compare" ability on the web site is great except some volume / mic balance issues exist with some earlier samples e.g. LF 70 /LF 60 . I know it's difficult and it could be that the actual guitar's volume is contributing but volume differences make tonal comparisons difficult. Cheers, guys .
what most folks will often overlook, the greatest part of an amazing acoustic tone is not only the wood and construction but equal parts player. You could put the most expensive and best acoustic in an intermediate players hands and it would still sound like an intermediate guitar. Put the cheapest guitar in the best players hands and you have a pretty dang good sounding guitar. That being said, these guitars sound great.
Chris, on the LF60e page the number of frets is 2144,45. Web pages are a lot of work, so there's bound to be an occasional mistake. Just thought i'D GIVE A HEADS UP. My MD70 is getting better with every playing.
Chris is the real deal. How often do you see these big makers playing, loving, and talking guitars. Lots of passion with this company.
Such lovely playing!

Beautiful guitars...The LD 70e is a Martin D-18 beater! And for less than half the price!
Have they have ever played the LT60?

The tone is the same as most ur higher end guitars
