Just search his name on Google, various sources list him as 7'1", which seems very accurate given how curved his spine was. Some sources list him as 7'4", but theres no way he could squeeze that many inches out of his spine. 7'1" seems 100% accurate, when you look at 2:56 in the video its looks like he could gain 3 inches if he straightened his upper back. www.ugly.org/2016/media/djcatalog2/images/item/10/ross-sambridge_f.jpg Its ridiculous to think someone with size 20 (US) shoes would be only be 6'10" or 6'11".
@@Vampire__Squid Height and shoe size do not always correlate. There are people who are average height with very big feet and very tall people with much smaller feet than you'd expect. For example, Wilt Chamberain was 7'1" and he only wore I size 15 US size shoe. I'm 5'9" and wear a size 12 US shoe. I had a 6'3" friend when I was a teenager that wore a size 16 US shoe. I'm sure there are plenty of 6'10/6'11 guys with a size 20 shoe. Actually, that's pretty close to what I'd expect them to wear. Size 18-20.
@@Vampire__Squid That may be true, but there are tons of exceptions to the average. My point was that it is not ridiculous for a 6'10" guy to wear a size 20 shoe. It's not just a guarantee that if someone is a certain height, they will have a certain shoe size that correlates. Like I said, my good friend when I was young was 6'3" and wore a size 16 shoe.
To be fair to that supposedly 6'10 guy, the doctor's measurement didn't seem very professional. It looked to me like he drew the mark where the back of his head was and not where the crown of his head was. A doctor should always a stadiometer for this reason.
@74 torino Maybe, but the points in my original comment are valid. You'd be surprised how much of a difference a stadiometer can make. To me, it looked like the doctor was a little off. But, certainly this guy is under 7'0.
He's definitely legit about expecting to be 7'5", or over 7'3". At 6:23 you see the professional run his hand down Ross's back, and that looks pretty damn bad. At least 5 inches lost in that.
I remember their being this joke about this group that gets together and does something to show off their height at a venue that they choose to attend every year. There's 7 people in the group and the shortest person in the group is 7'5 feet tall. Yeah it's a pretty big eye sore if you ask me. LOL! One of the guys in the group is like 7'6 feet in height and he asks everyone to find more tall people to get in touch with him.
Yeah you're probably right BigYellow9999; only a severed curved spine would take 6 inches off your height. 6' 10" is still pretty damn tall. This was a very fascinating documentarym thanks to tallmengroup for posting it.
I kind of suspected that he wasn't quite 7'...'cause when they said that his girlfriend was 6'2", it looked like he only had her by a few inches. When they stood side by side, I said to myself, 'are they sure that he's 7 foot?' Now it makes sense.
I think if I was 6ft10 inches tall I'd be completely content with my height. I don't see how anyone would want to be taller at that height. Even if you were in the NBA at that height you'd still be one of the tallest. You'd be listed 2 or 3 inches above that height like all NBA players are.
@siIvermate Yeah but he stated to be 7'5. I tried to measure myself while standing in hunchback position, then straight up. Only approx 2 inches height difference. He may be 7 ft if it weren't for that curve, but 7'5 my ass!
i am about 5'9 - 175cm but most people think i am 5'11 - 180cm and some are even shocked when i tell them that i am 5'9 ....most people lie about their height or dont know how tall they really are
Tall people that stoop look worse for it, be proud of your height and stand with your shoulders back. Usain Bolt looks a good 6'5" not only because of his proportional body, but because of the confidence he carries that height with. Stooped back looks awful.
yeah I don't know if you saw the other video like part 3 or something but did you notice his girlfriend she is only 6'2 and did not seem that over the top short in comparison to him.
That measuring tape will kill you. Usually people are 1-2 inches shorter than they think they are. People who are "6'2" in the normal world are usually actually 6'1" or even a little elss when you measure them in their socks. 7'5" to 6'10" is a bit much but that makes him 6'11" to 7'0" by normal height standards.
i agree with you on the lankier and the guessing but u gotta take into prespective the people are 6'2 at the least guessing my height. i dont look lankie cause my wingspan is only 6'5 everyone else you see as tall as me or taller has a longer wingspan then there body theres your explanation for that. and ok i'll try but i cant take a picture of my whole body i would take a pic of my head and you say i was standing on something so i'll try but i gotta figure out how to take it
im 12 and im 170-175cm and every kid on my age i know is like 20-30cm smaller than me and i started growing fast at age 11 and i like being taller but my body hurts and i have to stretch alot and i grow 1-2cm a month and the tallest person i know is a boy thats 14 and is 198cm
well not really, as I said it's down to my dad being a shorty. If he was 5'10 or 11 then yes I'd expect to be 6'3, which is how tall most of the men are on my mum's side. But he isn't that tall so the two sides of the family cancelled each other out a bit.
damn he looked pretty tall, but then the doctor was a whole head shorter so made me think the doctor was pretty tall.. he was.. 6'3 - 4 so means that hes only 6'10 or more. how does he gets 7'5 LOL
so as I said, you're not automatically 5 inches taller than your mother. It depends on your family's entire history. I'm only 2 inches taller than my mother because my dad's side are shorties. So the two sides of the family have cancelled each other out and I'm an average 6'0. Also your parent's height could disguise a family history e.g if one ancestor was very very tall those genes will be in there somewhere and could surface in a later generation, even though the parents are average height.
the Dr. who measured him at the end was rather rude and i would ask for someone to have done the measuring cause by watching how he just threw the clip board shows that he was not really trying and i think he just wanted to make him mad. and the way he held himself and how he made those facial expressions shows that he was being cocky and there is no way that he is below 7ft with how u saw him when standing next to serton things u knew how tall that roughly was and then u know about his height
So your dad's height has nothing to do with it? My mum is 5'10 but I'm "only" 6'0 because of my dad's height - he's about 5'7. Also those formulas for working out height only work when the parents are within average heights. If one or both parent is exceptionally tall or short then all bets are off. Neil Fingelton's Mother is 6ft and he ended up 7'7 and his brother 6'8. If she'd had more sons they could have been 6'7 or 7'0 or 7'2 or anything.
well him bending over a bit is probably just a habit cause eventually he will have a major curvature in his spine. Other than his size, he just looks like an ordinary man. I don't get why these super human people don't have more of a "look" to them. After the shock of his size, he's pretty much boring
I'm 6'6 and that is tall enough for me . I heard that your height is 5 inches added to your mothers height. Seeing that my mother is 6'1 makes a lot of sense.
Sorry, Your completly wrong. If hes spine was not curved he's body would adapt to him have a straight spine. Hes spine would be straight all the way up, intern making him taller and letting the bones and plates in his spine strech and his body would grow with it. I don't think he would of hit 7ft 5inch He would hit around 7ft 2 or 7ft 3 if he's lucky.

the ability to dunk or not does not classify if you are short or not in anyway. SUPER irrelevant. 6'5 is considered over extremely tall and the start of gigantic. a REAL person over 6'4 considers themselves at the very least very tall
