Hi everyone, back on the rats tonight using the Wolverine R and Pulsar C50, i actually shoot around 25 to 30 rats in total and you also get to meet my new friend.
Nice shooting yet again Simon. It's nice to see little Peter bringing a smile to your face and then letting him sod off home. It's not getting soft fella, it's just getting older. Keep em coming fella. Stay safe.🏴👍
We appreciate all your hard work doing these high quality videos! I cannot always understand every word but I can sure see what you are doing! Thanks again.
Thanks for another great ratting video. I really like the tight shots between the little beady eyes. I probably would have left the rabbit alone too, he was just interested in watching you. Cheers from Texas, and hope to see you again soon.
Hi there Si. Great video as ever and by far my favourite shooting channel. Love you professionalism and in all honesty like your call on Peter. Take it easy and already waiting on next upload. 😉👍
It always amazes me that you narrate these videos with astounding calmness. Not showing any resentment towards the rats or any sense of hate. They are a problem that needs managing and you do what you can to speed their passage as humanely as possible. Thanks!
Good shooting sir, after a hard day and dinner , can’t think of a better way to relax. You always keep it interesting and thank you for all your hard work Simon 👍🏻👍🏻
Nice outing Simon. You won’t be able to shoot Peter now. Nothing wrong with that. Once piled seven big rats for farmer to see. 10 mins later all had disappeared not the first time a fox has been watching proceedings. But ya they do drag of each other seen them doing that as well. All round another cracking vid Simon. Entertaining as usual presented with your talents on show 😉
I can’t agree more the gen 3 trigger sticks are absolutely fantastic, the gen 2’s were ok when they came out but definitely the 3’s take things to the next level so much more stable. I had my first night out ratting of the year on Wednesday night and took the air arms S510 tactical in 177 and it was manic but definitely made a hole in them, and I’m with you I think I prefer a good session on the rats above all else even on those freezing nights during winter.
Good job Simon, ratting is good to keep your shooting skills up to date. Good you let Peter walk, I also have two Peter's in my garden and let them do their thing 😁
hi Simon as always another great video made even better with your commentary , i must confess i dont know all the technical jargon about the sight settings but it all makes for a great video ,thank you my friend Im always pleased to see your new posts
Great video again. You just cannot shoot the rabbit, not now you've given him a name! imagine saying to the wife "Would you mind cooking Peter in a nice drop of Chardonnay love?"
Hi our simon i lv your set up looks amazing my friend you doi brilliant on the rats👍👍i hat to smile at you with little peter lol he leves for norther day lv out to you and your family please be safe 👍👍godbless you and thank you for your time simon give jack big hug for us all un till next time happy pestcontrol my friend thank you👍👍🛸🤣🤣.
Thanks for the ratting .. I have to admit I really like seeing them eat lead.. I like to see the birds explode too, but a good ratting vid is a great way to spend a few minutes.. Keep'em coming Amigo..
That forty yarder was a humdinger, Simon. The rat, "my mates laying about twitching. I'll check it out." Pfffffffttt.........eeeeeeeeeee...twitch, twitch.
Nice one ! I watch the pig shooting vids from the States and they all use those leaning sticks, they look a great bit of kit. You'll have to catch Peter and relocate him😁 !! 👍🏴
great post Simon yes i have witnessed rats eating dead ones but the best night we had was when an old broc came on the scene and started dining on the dead ones we shot on and he never lifted his head he was still there when we left stay safe ATB
Howdo!! Back at the rats, eh?! I do enjoy amusing myself by narrating an alternative script to yours 🤣 Mostly around, "Look lively, Simon's back!! I'd you feel his gaze don't lay still, jump about doing the breakdancing you've all been taught!". Well, keeps me happy!! My wee one who was playing on his PC, which is next to the TV, briefly looked around when he heard you talking about Peter and said, "I love rabbits" and then went back to his PC. 🤣
Orite Bexy lol, Summer soon gone hasn't it and ye Peter following me about everywhere then the farmer wanted me to shoot him sod that game, hope your fine and dandy any way showing off your pooches up and down the Country.
@@simon6ppc246 I don't blame you for not popping Peter!! Hopefully the farmer won't see your video!! Been showing far less this year but both boys are already qualified for Crufts 2023! Got a show next Sunday but that's all I've got booked for now!
Peter smiles and show's off his new pair of razor sharp teeth now you know what happened to all the rats that disappeared 😜. And glad you didn't shoot it ,👍 Nice shooting as ever lad 👍
So you have a pet fox and now a pet rabbit 😁 I agree with you about the primos trigger sticks, but I've got a clamp on mine, it's great, and with the flexibility of the primos hand grip it's great, as for picking up the rats, I have a litter picker, sooo much easier, keep up the good work Simon 😎
One lived to tell the tale. I can imagine him at the rat pub telling his rat buddies the story. “You heard of Simon the rat reaper? (Who hasn’t?) well that killer had me in his sights once. If I hadn’t turned my head 2 inches to the left at just the right moment you’d be eating my corpse. Nearly blew my head off. That’s why I moved to London.”
@@simon6ppc246 by the way you need to take care of Peter. There's only one reason he's always hanging around when you're out ratting. He's one of those sicko voyeur rodents getting off on all the carnage. Don't turn your back on that bunny. 😆
Hi Simon, you have a good following, I received a notification of your video and there were 233 likes already. I agree with your sentiments regarding the shooting you enjoy most as I find ratting very rewarding too, it might be because they are such a nuisance contaminating animal and human foodstuffs. One of my permissions has a healthy population of Brown Hares, like your rabbit Peter I like to watch their antics rather than shoot them. I have a garden plot on the farm with vegetables and I see the Hares chasing each other through the lines of vegetables, they haven't made any noticeable damage to the crop, which is more than I can say about caterpillars.
Thanks John, ye i have spent all my life learning to control pests and such and now i am befriending them all with Frederick the fox, Percy the pigeon and my last video Hartley the hare lol.
Fantastic rat shooting Simon I thought a double header was going to go down when the 2 rat was side by side but never mind, you need a litter picker Simon 👍
👍 dam right about with age you get softer,I can't kill half the amount of animals I use to sometimes contemplate for swapping my rifles in for a decent camera
@@andrewharris4940 I know mate this is why i these days 99% just shoot vermin that needs controlling this way i feel better also i know and have seen the damage say a crow can do so feel ok.

Another great video Simon, bought a Wolverine after watching you shoot with it, brilliant rifle, just saving for a Pulsar, Do you do any Grey squirrel control or see many of them? Thanks again and good to see Jack still is of use, even if asleep at home :)
