The Four Battle For Stardom is an American reality TV show that started in January 2018. It is a singing contest open for all genre of music. There is the starting four singers who are then challenged by new aspiring singers or challenger for the seat. There is the performance round or audition round and judges decide if the musician advances to challenge one of the four. Then the challenger chooses who to battle with in a sing off. The studio audience votes to decide the winner. The last musician who remains with a seat after sing offs becomes the champion.

His runs are amazing and the fluidity in his voice just smooth... He just needed to show the battle fight side on his second song. He needed to have shown something different from the first song performance.
But definitely he's got the voice.
Someone needs to sign him up with some record deals and mentor him in terms of the whole package of performance.
He can start watching how other great artists like Usher and Neyo (whose songs he sung) perform on stage before audiences. They don't just sing. They move and do a whole lot other things beyond their great voices.

If he sung 10 songs like this you will be bored by the 3rd song. Find out how Usher and even Neyo make their performance unique and why their concerts are great. It's because they're versatile and dynamic. Performance is more than the voice. He's got a great voice but he's still at this level a bit weak in performance. If he learns the art of performance and executes it well he'll be a great star one day.

Music and entertainment for that matter is more than singing! It is performance which is a whole lot of other things combined! As much as Quinton has a great voice, that only worked out best for him in the first song.
When the battle challenge came, his second choice was even weakly performed in comparison to his first and his performance was not as competitive compared to Stephanie's. It's a battle against each other. Boy needed to take his performance to a higher level.
No doubt the kid's got a great voice but he did not level up in performance and played super safe. I think he was still new to the battle, competitive idea. Everybody wanted to see him do more than just sing well.
People wanted to see the attitude, the fire.. It's a battle, it's a fight. Boy was rather soft.
Boy played it safe (knowing or unknowingly) with his second song.
No doubt he killed the first song. Second song was supposed to be more fired up than the first. That's called versatility and dynamics of performance. Show us something different from what we already know. He didn't show anything different and he didn't quite honestly put up a fight.

He chose the wrong song for his second song. The first song “You Got It Bad” allowed him to showcase his voice, body language, swag, mood, etc. When in a battle/competition, you have to choose a song that will make you come out swinging!
