It's quite a swell surprise to find such a channel that is so willing to offer what help it can, to the viewers who would be more than happy to replicate the creations they see therein--its a rather proud statement I offer: continue the good work, sir.
it's easier to cut straight 45° bevel cuts while cutting out of the mat itself. Just hold the straight edge of the ruler against the edge that need to be bevelled and cut inwards at an angle while pressing the blade against the straight edge to ensure a consistent cut.
got it! I just started right now on the warden helmet also, ill also send pics of that when im complete, thanks for answering all my questions also! love your channel btw :D
I know this video is 2 years old by now but I have one quick question, at 0:53 in the section between 1 and 2 (where you glue the side of the helmet to make it round) do you cut those two sides at a 45 degree or the normal 90 degree? when I tried it i cut at a 45 and it looked pointy but when i tried doing it at a 90 it just didnt fit well.
I made this helm with your most wondrous help and generosity, but alas! I found my cranium was just too large. I read some months ago-if my memory does not deceive me-that you received a like comment, and offered to supply upscaled templates; if this is so, might I ask (with all due patience, of course) when or if you will have these?
0:17 what I would have done was ether make the stripes red or cover the other stripes of silver in red or sage knowing me most likely sage because I freaking love that color.
i got the faceplate pretty good, but im having trouble on the actual helmet, mine didnt end up rounded, it was really pointy, and didnt fit my head.. what do you think im foing wrong?
The tutorial is great. Thank you very much! But im confused about the pattern #4 The one shown in the video is not the one in the cloud. I think there is more like a cheekpiece on the one in the video. :/ I'll try to build it with the pattern, you provided and will stay in touch, if I get a different result.
I use acrylic paints that can be found at Walmart/dollar store. I built up the paint in many layers dry brushing it so I had more control over how much went where and did washes afterward of black and brown mixed paint
Thank you for replying so quickly! So for the visor are both sides cut at a 45 or just one side? Also what is the modge podge paint? is that what its sold as?
For the modge podge it's just that mixed with black paint. For where the two visor pieces meet that is where the 45 degree cut is suppose to be on each piece. The number 4 is different because off camera I altered it to more correct so in the files I put the updated version from the one in the video.
Daniel Uribe are you trying to go a tapered look down the centre of where the two halves meet? If so do a 45 degree cut on both halves in the area marked in red at 00:53
not at the moment, but my head is slightly larger than the templates design, so the helmet fits a bit tight and the eye-holes are about a 1/2 higher than my level.
Daniel Uribe you could have all the templates assembled together but leave a bit of paper around the original templates. Depending on how small you think it is you could then trace around the original templates the amount of space you think you need
Hey, i know that u probably have much work on you'r head. But can i ask you about how big head u have? I want to create that helmet, for larp purpose. And i don't know if i will be able to fit by head in it with glasses on my nose.
you diy great dude, easy to understand thankyou so much for template i subs for you with three account, its all account i have you deserve so many subs dude i recommended tou all my friends
if you pause at 0:54 that is the area that I meant to keep 90 degrees (area lined in red). Making it 45 degrees there will make it more pointed when you connect both the halves which is up to you
Fucking hell. This is good, but i'm trying to use your templates with a steel sheet i have and then weld the pieces together. Its so damn hard to pull off. Also thanks for the shoulder plate templates, i used some PVC pipes i had lying around to make the plates instead of foam. A bit tougher of a material but still relatively easy to work with. Hopefully ill see you at comic con, though I don't have tickets to go inside the San Diego comic con. But i do have tickets for the Palm Spring one.
you giving these templates out for free, the world is not ready for such kindness
(lmao)
but really thanks a lot man and you definitely need more subs

This is the best cosplay making channel 🙂

This is amazing I have been looking for some for honor helmet tutorials and who have the best looking ones I have seen
You deserve so many more subs, this channel is so awesome!!
Whenever I do this I'm gonna take the extra step and use little pins or some shit and make it so I can lift the face shield up
Yessss. I subscribed. Thank you so much for the templates I’ve been looking for some for hours
I’ve been watching this guy for so long and I just realized that I was not subscribed I’m so sorry
i finished my kensei helmet! just needs to be painted :D now time for the warden and hopefully the kensei mask soon!!
USMC Asf Awesome! Mind if I see it?
Sure ill send you what i currently have and once i have time to finish the painting and bondo, ill send another
if you wont mind, could i send it to an email you have? I don't use facebook anymore and don't know if my account is still in tact
got it! I just started right now on the warden helmet also, ill also send pics of that when im complete, thanks for answering all my questions also! love your channel btw :D
Just found your channel and love your videos by far , very helpful
Great job! thanks for sharing the files!
Thanks for providing the templates for free instead of having us to pay for it like Lost Wax.
you should have more subs
For real. This is some good for honor cosplay, totally subbed.
i agree

This guy is a LEGEND
thank u im gonna make this for my medieval school day ur da best

How much bigger do you think the helmet would need to be to fit your head?
For Honor on PC, good job man
Great video big man, I am inspired by your work.
It would also be great if you can make the knight captain helmet if that design interests you at all.
0:17 what I would have done was ether make the stripes red or cover the other stripes of silver in red or sage knowing me most likely sage because I freaking love that color.
also, you could save some time by adding some black acrylic paint to your modge podge to have a colored sealant.
Akash Balakrishna never thought of mixing the too will have to give it a try, thanks
You deserve 1 mil subs at least
I was just wondering where can I acquire the foam? Did you get it from a store or order it online?
i got the faceplate pretty good, but im having trouble on the actual helmet, mine didnt end up rounded, it was really pointy, and didnt fit my head.. what do you think im foing wrong?
Ha ha funny I have the opposite problem, I cant make a good visor without it looking too short and wide. Ill trade my helmet for your visor lol
The tutorial is great. Thank you very much! But im confused about the pattern #4
The one shown in the video is not the one in the cloud. I think there is more like a cheekpiece on the one in the video. :/
I'll try to build it with the pattern, you provided and will stay in touch, if I get a different result.
I did change the template to save those from having to cut away excess foam once it's assembled
Regrettable Props Oh, okay. Thank you for the answer!
amazing tutorial
I loved it I did it myself I'd like to see the Arcturus helm (greathelm)
Where would you get that foam
Your probaly not gonna see this but will this work with carboard or other materials
How do you weather your helmets and how do you get the foam to look like pitted metal.. a video on this whole process would be awesome
in regards to weathering I already have a video out on it and for the hammered metal part I'd tell you to watch this video again..
What paint exactly did you use, and how did you get the weathered look for the paint on the visor? Thank you!
Hey I'm also a little confused because face number 4 in the video isn't the same as number 4 in the files.
For the modge podge it's just that mixed with black paint. For where the two visor pieces meet that is where the 45 degree cut is suppose to be on each piece. The number 4 is different because off camera I altered it to more correct so in the files I put the updated version from the one in the video.
Hey man, really cool tutorial, thanks !
I wonder, what's the density of the 5mm foam ? Is 60kg/m3 enough ? Thanks !!
So cool!!! Thank you
Whehre did you get the foam
can i ask something. Can i make this out of 3mm thick plastic?
I tried to make it but it can't be match properly is the pdf wrong by any chance?
i can put this in my cosplay ?
@Regrettable Props where can i get that foam i am from Czech Republic :D ?
what foam do you use?
How much did this cost in total. Great look
Just watched your video, I have made helmets and would suggest using contact cement
What thickness of foam did you use for the helmet?
5 mm foam and the pink was done in 2 mm
Regrettable Props Thank you.
Do I cut both insides of the main helmet 45 or just one side,( where the valley shape is )?
Daniel Uribe are you trying to go a tapered look down the centre of where the two halves meet? If so do a 45 degree cut on both halves in the area marked in red at 00:53
Okay thanks, also, if you have a larger head what should be done?
Thanks
Daniel Uribe are you able to determine your head circumference and head height?
not at the moment, but my head is slightly larger than the templates design, so the helmet fits a bit tight and the eye-holes are about a 1/2 higher than my level.
Daniel Uribe you could have all the templates assembled together but leave a bit of paper around the original templates. Depending on how small you think it is you could then trace around the original templates the amount of space you think you need
i love you work
Question about the files. For the backside of the helmet do i need to cut it at a 45 degree angle like the mask?
Probably not and you only need to do a 45 degree cut on one side
I would like to see a berserker done haha i really love your work :)
Which foam do you use I live in turkey
Hey man. Quick question, would it be wise to use black spray paint?
Given that it’s foam and that it will flex it may crack the spray paint if flexed too far or banged against something
A bit late. Is this kids size or does it fit an adult aswell?
I built this to fit my head and at the time I was in my 20s
Haha I could see that 😂 I might scale it up a bit. Thank you.
I know it’s been a while, but can I get permission in drive to download the template. I’ve already requested it. Thanks!
drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B_TI9Q_vu6lwbDc1VTQ4Z3RVQVk?resourcekey=0-u6Noi0VEk6XiN57eSiO0xw
Try this
@@cascade4821 it worked!
Hey m8, thank you so much for providing the templates. One question though, what size paper should I print these on? Thanks so much again! :D
Letter size paper (8.5”x11”) think it equates to A4 may have to check on that part
Tried a4 do the two base helmet parts need to be bevelled? I tried bevelling them and i couldn't fit it on my head. Is it letter size maybe?
I would love an arcturus helmet
Hey, i know that u probably have much work on you'r head.
But can i ask you about how big head u have? I want to create that helmet, for larp purpose.
And i don't know if i will be able to fit by head in it with glasses on my nose.
Sorry for the late response just seeing this now (thanks youtube!). My head circumference is 23" and head height is 9"
We've same laptop! Thought couldn't play the game since it's very high graphic.

Could you give me exactly the name of the apparatus you're using? I am trying to helmet and missing my supplies
dremel or rotary tool
thank you
I must use A4 paper for templates right ?
Regrettable is the main part of the helmet 90 degree cause I cut about a 45 in one spot on the main
if you pause at 0:54 that is the area that I meant to keep 90 degrees (area lined in red). Making it 45 degrees there will make it more pointed when you connect both the halves which is up to you
Regrettable Props thank you I decided to keep it 90 also check me out I've got some For Honor videos myself mainly props
hey man! i know this video is 4 years old, but can i have access to the drive with the templates?
Should be able to view them now!

Fucking hell. This is good, but i'm trying to use your templates with a steel sheet i have and then weld the pieces together. Its so damn hard to pull off. @@liamkatakouzinos3555 OK thanks
What Kind of tool to make the texture
mentioned in the video and had various rotary tool/dremel bits
Regrettable Props If i used sandpaper is good or not, Cause that tool is to expensive on indonesia
try it on a test piece first but it could work just takes longer
Regrettable Props Thanks I will do it
Regrettable Props I want To ask some question. If i made this helm from cardboard it was good or not . Thanks
On what paper i need to print this :) ? A3 Or A2 ?
8.5'' x 11"
And what paper is that A3 or what ???? i hate inches. . .
letter paper size
Is that a A4 or A 3 oR WHAT ???
how many tries did this take?
I made this on my first attempt but I did previous versions
Yo you should create the Orochi Samurai Helmet and the Mask he wears.
H4V0C I did do the Kensei one, the Orochi one has more of a fabric face covering
Deus vult my brothers.
you should make nobushi's mask because nobushi is bae
for you're file :
Not Found
Error 404:/
It is there cause others have managed to successful download it
when i go to download it says 403 error
WhazArt | Free GFX are you logged in to your google account?
I cant print it
What’s showing for error
regrettable props, i went to tons of dollar trees and Walmarts but could not find any foam please tell me how to find it
Keith Sweat all depends on where you live tbh
If you have a harbor freight, they sell Eva foam mats. I've used it for a few different projects; works pretty well!
Good
sweet bro thx. And everyone talking about you needing more subs? When im busting my ass @ 79 hahah. I think your doing great
Where*
The files are not working...
Rogue01 have you tried again and not on a mobile device

majestic bob do you have the templates in the correct order?
deus vult)
This is so cool u should get more subs then gliche's gaming dat kid is annoying
It can't fit my head...
Increase the PDF before printing then
Regrettable Props Oh ok. Also at 0:53 where the red line is marked do I bevel both foam pieces or one side?
I’d taper one side personally
just use hammered spray paint instead of sanding so much
I did not do it anyway
What materials do you use
