I think this is an amazing performance. No great moves or big gestures, just smooth classy delivery. Lovely twinkle in his eyes. Had me engaged. Have to admit I was neutral about Mr. Manilow before, but am now a total fan. God bless him.
Now, I know that over the years Barry has been criticized, made fun of and generally put down, but he has been the epitome of smooth and class for many decades. Just looking at that audience shows he is still on top of the game. He has written some of lifes best music that we can all relate at least one of our lives events. Hell, there are probably more babies made to his music than any other! Bravo Barry.

A black tie affair with amazing music and everyone had a turn at the microphone telling their experiences with Sonya. There were tears of happiness and pure joy. It was the best sendoff to honor her remarkable life. Barry Manilow's songs rang through the night. He was her favorite singer. Happy New Year to you Mr. Manilow, and to everyone else in this thread now 13 years old. ❤

Still here in May 2024 listening to Barry sing this beautiful song. Getting ready for Barry to come to England for his last Tour here. He’s here next Sunday. Manchester. And the London Palladium for a couple of weeks. I’m going to three, one being front row for the first time ever. Look at the audience in this video, they are all loving being there. For that 90 minutes you are able to forget everything and just concentrate on Barry, his band and singers ( love them ) I love that feeling. ♥️🕺♥️

Barry Manilow is the best of the best. Wholly underrated in his early days (despite the adoration of pre-teen girls like me for his songs' relatability, romance, and sing-ability). I hope he truly enjoys this last chapter of his life. I'm so impressed that at 80, he continues to tour. What a testament and true inspiration for us all---as always, Mr. Manilow.

We love you Barry. Saw him in Vegas a few years BC (Before Covid), played at the Paris Hotel and Casino. He pitched for a charity that provides musical instruments to disadvantaged kids. Great singer, great human being.

When i was a teenager in high school in the mid 1980s, all my friends were listening to def leapord, van halen, run dmc, bon , Jovi, etc. . i had my barry manilow and bread and air supply cassette tapes hidden...lol ....
