BRG Otaku how did I overlook this every one of the million times I've watched this? I just always dismissed it as Darcy being awkward and trying to fill silence with a common saying in Pemberly, but that makes so much sense.

I know I'm super behind on the times, just watching these through over the last week or so, but oh my god I can't get over how super adorable Gigi is. She is the SWEETEST. All the characters in this are an utter delight, but I'm bursting at the seams over how cute she is!
The thing I love about this video, or all these videos, is how on point everything is. The details amaze me. Darcy is supposed to have a "quizzical brow", what I've always thought of as one of the signature things about his character besides his lack of social skills and the actor does just that. He raises one of his eyebrows just enough to make it look like he's always thinking. Brilliant.

I love Darcy’s facial expressions when asking if Lizzie enjoyed her stay at Pemberly. He genuinely cares about her opinion. And his look of gratitude when she says it is amazing and everyone has been so kind 😍😍
Gigi is like her brother right now, she will do anything for those that she cares about and she clearly wants Darcy to be happy and with Lizzie. So wonderful. She's also got the social awkwardness down, it's not hard to think they are related at all.

This scene is a lot more embarrassing in the book, but this is pretty well written on it's own.
