Drowning newborn puppies as a way to control the dog population? How barbaric, how sickening! And the poor mother dog, my heart cries for her. But this time, by rescuing them you give these innocent lives a chance to grow up. Mother dog is smart, gentle and beautiful, her puppies will grow up like their mom. Hope they all have safe and good lives. Thank you, Olena, you're incredible.
I liked this partly because it was on 101 likes- and 101 Dalmatians
I realize this took place in Europe, but in the U.S it can often be quite difficult to find homes for puppies, especially for certain breeds. In Florida, you are not supposed to SELL a puppy with a veterinary health certificate. To get that, the puppy SHOULD be a certain age (6-8 weeks) and have all applicable shots.
I emphasized the word SELL, because raising a puppy to the age to get that certificate is a financial strain for owners, so they will try to recoup that cost.
In some areas of this country you can be penalized for owning certain breeds with higher homeowners insurance premiums. And many landlords won't rent to people with a certain breed of dog.
Then there are municipalities that only allow a specific number of dogs on a property...or for 1 person to own a specific number of dogs. There are a surprising number of dog hoarders in this country.
Yes, drowning puppies is an incredibly stupid way to control population, but when you are pressed financially, you often act stupidly.
Maybe some human's should be drowned to ease the overpopulation 🤔
@@howardkerr8174 Not to mention how much they charge people for having a dog in their apartment. It sucks because I want a dog, pomerania, yorkie, or "maybe" a chihuahua in particular (former roommate, bad memories), but the cost along with certification and getting the dog tagged and spayed/neutered it's just too much of a cost I can't afford with my rent money being added to it. They charge $50 extra on the rent for being a pet owner.
I know, it's heartbreaking that anyone could do that, so glad they were rescued !!

If I were rich I would build a safe haven in every country for these animals and commit myself to maintaining the shelters.... (and donate to existing ones) my heart gets so sore seeing how other human beings treat these living creatures....
People in this world are so messed up. Who would drown defenseless puppies just to control a population of dogs:(
I know us true. When I was growing up , we were all extremely poor, and Vet care or wasn’t available or prohibitive in terms of cost. People were hungry , could not think about feeding another mouth, and all the kittens born, were immediately drowned. Dogs were poisoned . I have seen quite a few of them dying horrible deaths. Horrible for the poor, innocent animals and for people trying to survive. Now things have changed, but there are still people in the country practicing that type of birth control. I feel tremendous sadness writing this!

That would be ideal , but I doubt it's a realistic possibility. There is the " where to put the dogs to care for them while being cared for and that takes money and people the group probably doesn't have " and " there will always be more coming as it isn't easy to change the human mindset , or financial ability. ". The group does the best they can. I agree with your concern though.

I have 10 rescued dogs plus 5puppies and two cats...the kitten i rescued 3weeks ago from a pvc pipe, who i named Pipa, did not make it. I took care of her for 3weeks, but i think she just came for a while. She died peacefully. Please be safe take care...GOD bless the world.

Instead of collecting some money to spay the poor mum, and the whole neighbourhood could have done it easily, they used to drown puppies. So cruel and wicked people, make me sick.

They eat only those animal meats which are allowed by Health & Food department of USA.
Eating meat is God gifted to mankind ( nothing wrong if someone doesn’t eat meat): man has canine teeth 🦷 in his dental set up, just like lions, cats, dogs and all meat eating animals. Cows and horses don’t have canines, they have incisors and molars: they can eat veggies only.
Man has both canines and incisors (+molars to chew the food).
Thus man has privilege to eat both: vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods.

The mom of these 6 cute pups is beautiful and intelligent. Thank you for rescuing she and her family. This mom noticed that in the past people stole her newborn babies after birth, and so this time she hid them in a narrow space where humans could not reach and steal her babies. And when Olena arrived, how lovely it was the way that those pups were running from all directions to meet her. This is a very nice video and the mom and pups are all adorable, worthy of a better life in the future with better owners.

If killing a baby at 20 weeks wasn’t bad, it is now legal to kill them at full term. I’m an American who is deeply troubled by the outrage displayed by human beings over innocent puppies but support the killings of babies. There are graphic videos of live abortions and the torture and pain inflicted on fetuses and babies during the process.

Poor little ones, I'm glad that they are safe now. It looks like they were always happy even while they were abandoned which means that they didn't know pain from humans, I think, (even though they were in unknowing danger). They have a good attitude about life.

Great rescue for this beautiful family. I'm so happy you took the Mama Dog. She is a beautiful Collie and so deserves to find a loving forever home somewhere beautiful to run free with loving owners. Collies are very high energy and require a lot of mental stimulation as much as physical exercise. They are also the most intelligent dog breed. Also extremely loyal and protective of their owner and usually are a one Person Dog as they were bred for Sheep herding on the lowland hills in the borders of Scotland. Hence, The Border Collie. I hope God intervenes before any furrbabies are drowned, that is horrendous when a pretty simple procedure would save the mom from a horrible action seeing her babies killed, & what the babies suffered. This Mom was smart to hide her babies! Just so adorable, cannot imagine being able to look at these furrbabies & do what those people did! How is that NOT a crime!?
It is in another country. Some places have little or no regard for animals, there are no laws to protect children in some places let alone animals. In my state, there are strict laws with regards to animal abuse and it is the LAW to spay and neuter your pets, unless you receive a letter from a vet saying it would endanger the health of the animal.

This lady dresses like a fashion model, has a 1000 watt smile and killer body but what makes her so beautiful is her heart ❤️ of gold. She is giving, loving, kind and does so much for those dogs. What a Beautiful Soul.
