(I have Aquarius North node in the 5th and Leo south node in the 11th) You talked about regulating and refining the emotions, using the brilliant analogy of focusing the power of water (emotions) like a fountain, a hose with a nozzle, or even a dam. Recently, I had a meditation about this. . it had to do with my struggle with using my creative energies in a competitive way or in the need for approval as opposed to focusing that same energy in an impersonal way as a power for good in the world. I had a mental image of threading a needle as a narrow but impactful focus. Once the needle has been threaded, the work can begin.

What I've found though is there is a lot of crossover between signs and houses. For example a person who has their NN in Virgo will have similar experiences as a person with their NN in the 6th house. In your case it's like a double dose of Virgo energy. I'm not sure what house system you've done your chart with, but you might want to look at your chart using the Placidus house system. I've found it very accurate, and it could put your NN in a different house. If you go to Astro-seek.com you can generate a free birth chart using the Placidus house system. Yes, absolutely correct. You'd want to watch Capricorn/10th house for your NN sign, and also watch the Aquarius/11th house video for your house. So generally speaking, the Zodiac sign is 'what' is taking place and the Zodiac house is 'where' it is taking place. What I've found and experienced is there is a crossover between signs and houses. For example a person with their NN in Capricorn will experience similar situations as a person with their NN in the 10th house, ( ruled by Capricorn). Hope that helps! 🙂💚🙏
When you generate a birth chart it will show your North node sign and house. It's a lot to explain here in the comments but I have a couple suggestions. No, actually it is very beneficial. This is very common where either your North node or your South node matches your Sun, moon or Rising sign. Because your NN is in Capricorn ( which is what you are striving for) and you have a Capricorn Sun, this helps you Because you understand your NN a little better, it's not completely foreign to you. Now the opposite would be true if let's say your Sun matched your SN in Cancer, it could have trigger you to cling to the SN. 🙂💚🙏

So generally speaking, the Zodiac signs are 'what' is happening and the houses are 'where' it's happening. What I've found though is there is a lot of crossover between the signs and houses. So let's say a person has their NN in Cancer and another person has their NN in the 4th house, many times they experience similar situations.

No, actually it is very beneficial. This is very common where either your North node or your South node matches your Sun, moon or Rising sign. Because your NN is in Capricorn ( which is what you are striving for) and you have a Capricorn Sun, this helps you Because you understand your NN a little better, it's not completely foreign to you. Now the opposite would be true if let's say your Sun matched your SN in Cancer, it could have trigger you to cling to the SN.

Yes, so this can, as I said be a little challenging. It's very common though. You just have to work extra hard to embody that Cancer NN, while keeping the best parts of Capricorn.
