She wanted to temporarily stay out of the spotlight so that she can heal her broken shoulder...and also avoid addressing her marital problems. But the issues that Wendy is dealing with is having a direct effect on the future of her talk show.

There is a ring of this. I was approached by someone who I thought was a friend to "entertain" a group of men (her husband included). I declined. It is a very unsafe process from the woman's perspective. I hope she leaves him and finds someone who is just as witty and what she deserves. She doesn't have to hold on for fans we would understand.

I empathize with her, as I would any hurting person. I don't understand the hypocrisy of telling others how to handle their man, when clearly Kevin is King of her world. He seems to do anything that comes to his small mind. If your mom says you are horrible, what's left. I watched her show faithfully but the reason I stopped is she kept telling people to get a divorce. I think we all go through things but how we handle it, is personal. Wendy is pushy and has been up to stuff forever. Hurt people hurt other people. Unfortunately, she is experiencing the same thing that she has criticized others about. I'm sad for her, I know what it is like to hurt.

I know she has said and done some hurtful things to people, but folks need to have empathy and give her some grace. People are so quick to judge others, but look at your own life. You're far from perfect. Let something bad happen to you back to back and deal with bad health and see how it feels for people to say you deserve it and it's karma from all your past mistakes smh. Wendy like all other grown women will be just fine. 54 isn't too old to find love again. Pain meds are seperate from marital issues and Grave's disease. Handling all of them a once is called being an adult. She will be fine. Mistress or not. She has a supportive family, she has a few best friends and they will come through for her. Gossip is fun and all... Speculations are a good mental exercise but at the end of the day grown people can take care of themselves. If Wendy retires next year I'm sure she'll find something else. I think it's a lot with her health, personal problems, the stress of that 8 hour commute in a traffic jam that seems to have traumatized her, doing the show AND doing the backseat show (She had Mario and Big Freedia on) plus the events she attends and having a son in college.

Here is my issue with people wanting to see Wendy hurt. Wendy wasen't going on her show and making things up about people, she reports what has already been reported. She's not hoping for anyone's down fall, she's not going through people's mail to find their tea, none of those things are happening. She's simply reporting entertainment news. She's not always the nicest, but you all are making it seem like she's actually impacting the lives of these celebrities. She's not. Also, I find it odd that many of the people hoping for her downfall have no issue with the paparazzi, no problem with TMZ, but this woman who reports the things happening in the world of entertainment needs to be beaten down like this. It's sad.

Sad life? Wendy came from nothing to being worth over 60 million! From radio shows to a talk show? She's a legend in these celebrity news streets! People can say what they want about her Karma catching up with her and blah blah blah but don't discredit her hard work! In my opinion, she needs to come back and lay her cards out on the table and keep it moving. People will always watch if she's on TV and if her gig is up in 2020, she's had a good 10 plus year run! I doubt that will happen. It is sad to see her being sick and falling out on TV though. I will agree her skeletons have caught up with her and we need some explanation of this! She's embedded in pop culture and I doubt we will cancel Wendy Williams with these latest shenanigans happening. If anything, this is drama people can relate to as nobody's life is perfect!

Makes more sense than a shoulder fracture. Not walking one side limp slurring words. Its possible. I've seen many patients walking around not knowing that had a stroke.
They can't realize it like you did it sounds and look like she had a stroke because when you have a stroke you know you cannot pronounce your words correctly in your right is a stroke stress and as you get older stress will kill you
This is insanely embarrassing. I wish she'd take time of to deal with her personal and medical struggles but it's not nice to see someone unravel like this in front of the world.
