Absolutely not. FPS is just a sign of lazyness and bad animations. This is the case where you see a stationary chicken head A cinematic game shall always be in third person. Furthermore you are not Indy: Harrison Ford is and you are supposed to see Harrison ford in an Indiana jones game (not just in the cutscenes)
@ it’s not good for adventure games but more for shooters and puzzle solving adventure. I think it’s stupid to pay so much money to Disney and not use Harrison Ford which is the very reason to enjoy an Indiana jones edition. People pay money to enjoy a cinematic experience not a gyroscope with 2 hands
@@RealBadGaming52 I agree with being able to switch on the fly but I've played plenty of TPS that had great shooting, plus the shooting in this it's that great to begin with.
It's too much for modders, they'd have to make new animations for third person, adjust the camera, etc. I mean, maybe they could adjust the camera, but make new animations and then adjust them accordingly to the model? I don't think that's possible.
I would be much more interested to play this game if it would be third person especially that it switch to third person anyway when you interact with something lol.
They were lazy therefore they opted FP. Third person requires good animations. Slapping everything on a steady camera with gyroscope chicken head motions was easier and less time consuming although it makes the game look like shit and not immersive at all
@ it is: most animations aren’t that good + the animations of the protagonist suck: you even see his legs that behave weirdly in FPS, cutting away Harrison Ford and leaving us only with that stupid gyroscopic chicken steady-camera that ruins the experience It’s lazyness and poor choice for a game that is supposed to be third person. FWIW I prefer first person. I preferred it in Alien: Isolation, Cyberpunk, and I prefer it here. I think it's underutilized for adventure games.

The game was designed around being in the 1st person perspective.

Cyberpunk actually recently got some really decent 3rd person animations in Oct-Nov, decent enough for exploring
