Got my filter interview for RAF officer selection this week. This video has been really helpful despite being for a different arm it's completely transferable concerning the central elements! I feel like my filter interview prep revision and notes are on par with my degree dissertation notes at this stage hah. Hi, thanks for your support and it's great to hear you are planning to go via the AOSB route. I would suggest making an application in the last few months of your degree and you can then list your predicted grade. It usually takes a while for the application process to complete, but maybe someone else here can she light on how long it took them while has a more recent experience?

Because since childhood I always wanted to, and I tried back in my home country, but you are only allowed to do so once, I failed. But I really wanted to so I moved to the Uk, maybe I can join over here. And, I think if my paperwork goes through properly I can apply withing next 2 years. It will be difficult to explain the whole patriotism thing simply because its not even been 3 years I have moved here.

Obviously never heard of CDRILS, interesting given that you portrait to know about selection. Have you ever served? I have and served in afghan twice and trained both phase 1 & 2 as well as held reg and reserve commissions and being an Army Cadet. Much of what you say is good advice and true, although some I’m afraid my friend is untrue & misleading and I question whether you’re advice is to be relied upon given you’re obvious lack of actual military experience. Tell me different?

I have to say my first question was had he served. I know the Army have been using civilian recruiters . In my day you went to a recruitment office and were interviewed by a serving soldier who knew what he was talking about and what was required by the Army. Let's face it if you haven't done the job how can you advise others ? You need to walk the walk before you can talk the talk.

I think saying not to be honest about your teachers performance even if they aren't very good is contradicting their values if one of their values is "honesty". I feel like you can be honest about your experience without being disrespectful even if your experience wasn't positive. There is a way you can get messages across.
