they played it in the past with the "Nexus" line up (Astennu & Hellhammer & Sverd therefore) but before S.Jezebel joined them. Afterwards it is quite possible that Silenoz did a concert or 2 with Covenant before Astennu arrived. 97" It's the time "Enthrone Darkness..." & "In Times..." some played in each other's groups... And if we trust the Metal Archive source: "Astennu" would have played in first with Covenant because "Nexus.." in 98" and "Spiritual.."99 but really "Astennu" joined Dimmu Borgir just after the release of "Enthrone..." because "Astennu" & "Nagash" played together in Dimmu Borgir on the "Enthrone.." tour
In the 90s decade these two bands were belonging to the dominating groups of the Scandinavian Black Metal scene. However they changed a lot their style and line-up, they are still big names and worth to watch to know for the upcoming generation of metal fans. Thanx for your research. 🖤🤘
@@ParcifalBirdmats For now COVENANT changed musically, sure, but was renamed THE KOVENANT. Rather than riding on success and disappointing the first listeners, he had the honesty to change his name and thus explain the change in musical direction. NAGASH is surely one of the most honest and humble artists of the entire Black Metal or even Metal scene, in comparison to everything he was able to bring and the key albums on which he was able to work and compose. He composed the biggest hits of DIMMU BORGIR, and given the problems that this group had with BAKER and MUSTIS, I am not convinced that NAGASH was really compensated financially speaking. This guy is a genius who certainly doesn't get his fair share of recognition!

Hey, who allowed them 2 use the same name as another band from Sweden? Asking 'cause someone told me that this is forbidden! I def know that it's not allowed for me to imitate someth or someone. What's wrong with this world??
They actually changed their name to The Kovenant because of this, but that was long after this album was released, for this show they just reverted to their original name because who gives a fck

Porque se pierden estas bandas deberían seguir hasta el fin de los tiempos
Regresaron hacen gira con la formación del nexus
Pues al ser proyecto con miembros de otras bandas, seguro es más complicado si tienen compromisos con sus respectivos grupos
A great live record!!
Hail Covenant!!!
En vivo

why did they downtune?
Yes sounds not that fitting... Maybe because Nagashs voice is also deeper... New Troll stuff is also played with down tuned guitars
To me this is not Covenant. It's Nagash with a cover band. Still they sound really great. I miss Blackheart/Amund
Who is the main composer of the band in all the albums.
90% of In Times Before The Light is his.
Covenant has always been Nagash and friends
Now he is.
The band that couldn't release 'Aria Galactica'. Hmmm
How many records did you release?
What’s the Lineup for this particular Covenant band?
Watch until the end.
@@HeidensHart Much appreciated, thank you.
@@NightSide1349 Cant figure the psedonyms , are there any known black metal artists in this? Besides Nagash? I think Astennu , or Mystis or Shagrath?

I think the keyboard is horrible.. it sounds like the most standard setting.. couldn't he go for a more synthesizer tone?
Great album but doesn’t come across as well live imo.. But I have to remember this was their first time performing it live

Gracias x compartir......por cierto todos vestidos de saco y corbata menos el guitarrista, que falta de apoyo al líder Nagash.
