Hii dear , this is a super recipe I made this cake today with cake gel as you said with half quantity of all ingredients.. batter came out super, even while baking it was rising nicely..but..at the end it went down.. wat shud have happened? I dont know.. I put on the top coil too at the last 5 mins to get the top brown, is that the reason? Cake is a bit hardat the top, but inside soft and very tasty.. like the bakery cakes.. Mam, can u pls give the exact measurements for half of this recipe.. Shud we keep both the coils on after preheating, thru-out the baking time, or just the bottom coil, with the cake in middle rack?

It won't usually happen da. If it happens u have to change the recipe. More fat and less water required
