Because of the way it is constructed, you would have to place it in a magical way for it to happen. The inner core isn’t a sphere, so the outer core will shear away in weird chunks.

Blade Wolf - this meant this way. Saw teeth are hard and probably somewhat brittle but middle of the blade is kept soft and ductile precisely so it can't explode when the blade is spinning.

Really nice! The result with the weight plate was pretty much what I expected - because it's is actually a thick steel or cast iron plate. The rubber is just there as a protective coating and to dampen the impact if you drop the weight.

You could add a thick steel plate with hex-hole to the press and use a hex-shaft, so that the slicer can't spin
The problem isn't the slicer spinning, it's the hydraulic cylinder itself is spinning.
At first, I had the same issue with my idea. But if the slicers head can't spin the cylinder could spin as long as it likes to. Important is, that the head doesn't spin

A serious thing. At 6:20 what caused the camera interference? Is it the metal breaking that maybe has generated some elecromagnetic effect?
Giovanni S I dont think that metal would be able to create that field. I am guessing that sound maybe somehow managed to create vibrations inside camera. Just guessing, it may not be true.

I was wondering if the camera got smacked by a piece of shrapnel hard enough to create vibrations in the camera, specifically around the contacts to the memory card. This would cause artifacts in the frames *before* the impact, since there's some delay between the image data coming off the sensor, being compressed, and finally written to the SD card. In particular, you get better compression/quality if you look at a series of frames at a time rather than just one frame at a time, since so much of the picture is nearly identical from frame to frame, i.e. the background. So it buffers a large number of frames, processes them together, and then finally writes the compressed video to the memory card.
They're using a Chronos high speed camera, which DOESN'T write the data on SD card directly (even the fastest SD cards are too slow for this), and AFAIK it doesn't even saves the footage automatically. It records on some DDR RAM, than you manually select the start and end point of the desired footage, which than will be written to the SD card.
But I think what you said, is possible. Something hit the camera, which caused intermittent contact inside the camera. Maybe at the DDR RAM slots, but I don't think so, because it would ruin the whole footage, and most probably freez up the camera, even can damage the RAM modules. It seems like to me that the image sensor data was corrupted. But I don't get it, how it's possible that the interference appeared on the recording BEFORE the hit.
I think I'm curious enough about it to ask David Kronstein, the designer and maker of the camera.

Just a point if you haven't already figured it out in a later video, but if you sharpen your blades with either a concave cut or just a longer angle, you'll cut through the paper and other things smoother and they'll more likely fly away as opposed to being partially crushed.
