they did the first dance routine twice because the routine was that good the judges wanted it twice, this was the second time they did it back to back.
Some context - this act wasn’t choreographed by them (though i have no doubt that they could absolutely do it). Contestants on these shows are assigned choreographers who design these acts for them. You’ve seen Saumya and her choreographer Vartika before (two girls in white doing a mix of hiphop and belly dancing to Ang laga de re). Saumya won her season, while Gaurav (the guy in this video) came a close second. Both fantastic dancers! But my personal fav is the Choreographer Vartika. Many of her contestants have won their seasons, or been runner-ups. I encourage you to watch her and Saumya’s acts, as well as Vartika and Sanchit’s acts from Super Dancer (a version of this show for kids) who you saw in that dance battle in the earlier video. There are some other great contestants in these shows as well! Also watch Vartika’s finale performance from India’s best dancer 2. Oh and fun fact, The dancers in this video (Saumya and Gaurav) are just 15-16 year olds…cant wait to see how their dance evolves and where they go from here!

you must watch their mentor’s performance :- vartika jha. she choregraphed and mentored both of them in their respective first reality shows and they follow her style. they reflect her in their every dance performance
I have been watching dance reality shown in India over more than 10 years but believe me Soumya is the blessing, she is like pinnacle of grace, moves and speed in dance.

The choreography is done by Vertika- she was one of the dancers in one of the shows. She is really really good.

I have said this before. Indian dance shows have gone total apex mode in the last 5-6 years.Look at groups like Kings, V Unbeatable.

Terrible camerawork! They showed the reactions more than the performance! That's why I stopped watching Indian reality shows long back. All melodrama, unnecessary distractions, dramebaazi and not near enough focus on the art. All just for bloating the running time.
