We need comfort. True comfort is received.

Given the pace and pressures of life in the world, with the pain and suffering we go through as human beings, we all need to be comforted. Comfort is something received. Where or from whom you take comfort from matters. Still, another thing we need to consider: What does it enable us to be and do? For true comfort is active. It may move us to rest. It may move us to seek valuable changes. And certainly, it will move us to what is good and the good that others need. We are comforted to be a comfort to others.
