Pultec is the real deal...is what it is, but for the money I would go for a couple of the langs all the way, and maybe a couple of new pres 🤣

Having owned both multiple Pultecs and Langs, my personal experience mirrors what is going on in this demonstration. I always felt that the Lang PEQ-2 had a very "tight" low end and the highs were sonorous. Though I could be wrong, I never knew, nor felt, that the numbers on the front of the Pultecs or Lang related to actual decibels; I just thought that they were arbitrary values.

Great Video Fellas! Pultec wins.... Although, for mere mortals like myself, the Lang is damn close enough!
Even though the 1/4" jack io has near put me off.... ide love to hear how the new Lindell Lintecs hold up in this kinda shootout..

I'm a warm audio EQP_WA user, although after this video i may have to reconsider, the Pultec is beautiful. I wonder how the Stam fares.

What I find impressive about the Heritage is that it sounds smooth and has more weight. The Pultec is cool, but not cool enough for it's price tag. The Warm is sharp and plastic sounding. Heritage did a great job with the Lang.

Pultec rules. You should try the Audioscape EQP-A.

How do you run the 2-Bus into a single channel EQ? Do you do this often and what are the benefits? Never seen anyone do it before but sounded good the way you did it!

I normally do NOT run a 2 bus into a mono unit! Haha..we didn’t have a pair of any of these and yet I still wanted to demonstrate overall mix eq.

Oh, ok, i get it now. I was like dang is there something or a device that allow this to happen! Do you think this changed the outcomes of the different units? Like if say one perform better in Mono situations and another in a stereo situation!

I feel all the units would be equally effective in mono and stereo..just gotta buy 2 to do stereo. Pultecs are $$$ be like 8k for a pair..
