This game is an absolute gem that, at least for me, came out of nowhere. A perfect spiritual successor to the amazing World in Conflict game that I loved so much. Can't wait for this one.
man world in conflict is such a gem itself, too bad we never got a second one (knowing that the chinese got involved aswell in it in the end)
@@darthvader4158 yeah man it's one of the best RTS ever made in my opinion. I even had the collector's edition that came with a piece of the Berlin wall!

As I told the developers of this game in their survey, with proper support and mod tools being made available via Steam with Steam Workshop integration this game has an EXTREMELY solid chance at not only RTS of the Year but RTS of the DECADE, a true solid 10/10 RTS game.
I hope that's the case. Broken Arrow better be beyond what it is, so that it happens
Here's hoping for a good Zombie mod. Halo and Star Wars mods would be sick as well, and perhaps (if permission were obtained) a mod based on the Extinction Survival books would be SICK.
(If no one else does it, I might just give it a shot myself...)

Playing this on my somewhat low end laptop with 8gb of ram & I gotta say it’s definitely a blast so far I can’t wait for it to be fully optimized this game is bringing the feel of world of conflict on another level

I really like the combined arms aspect of the game so far, you really need to have a good mix of units to win
You can send your units back to base to get refurbished, just don't send more back than the base limit or you lose those extra units. Say you have 6 infantry units all beat up and depleted and your base is at 0/4 inf units, you can send 4 back and wait until they are refurbished/replenished and then call them back into the AO and then send the last 2 back to base, rinse and repeat.
I was doing this but you can also just do a supply dump and it replenishes the numbers/ ammo. Also learned that it also repairs vehicles including the choppers if they got hit by AA
With a little big of work and polish I think this game has a great future ahead of it, can not wait till it launches. I'm gonna spend a lot of hours in this game! With the arty at the fort, you can totally take them out from the beginning area, move your arty up to the shoreline behind the trees, then have recce units move across the canal, and get eyes on, light up the targets that way your arty can take them out from across the canal, I did it yesterday, took some time, but it is possible. Each time I play I try a totally different tactics and most seem to work very well, I just move slow.
"light up the targets" is that what the fire position button does?
@@GUNNYCANUCK Light up the targets means get close enough to them with a recce unit, or recon unit, to show their icons, that way you know exactly where to target the arty, from the other side of the canal, you are no longer firing blind, you lit the name up for them, not target and let arty do the rest. You can do it with a chopper also, but i find it easier and cheaper to do with actual recon units, you can tell the recon units, to not fire so they can get in close and do what they need to do.
@raptor you can use your viper to shoot on buildings, jsut order them with CTRL and when they get in range, they'll fire their rockets first and clear out the building

This is it,after many years of watching raptors videos i can say that he broke the camels back, I have never seen such incompetence combined with blissfulnes that would even make a boomer blush.

You can silence the arty with vipers pretty easily before you cross.
its gonna be the Trkov of RTS, popularity wise I hope. I know these guys(game creators- steel balalaika), they are hardcore wargamers, I was watching them play wargame while I was in the army myself, when I was chilling in my BMP-2 in 2016
at 1:40 you can yes silence their artillary or even kill them, thats what i did, you have to put your mortars closer, because the enemie as no eyes on you they will not kill your mortars, so yes you can silence them

Military games have existed since video games have. It's not some new phenomena hahaha.
But yes, video games are actually great trainers. IIRC tanks now come with Xbox controllers because every new recruit knows how to use them.
Ima be honest having to manually deploy flares is kinda annoying
You can right click the icon to auto enable flare deployment when there’s an incoming missile. However the devs have said there is currently a bug to where flares and chaff don’t work against Fire and Forget missiles like the Stinger and Verba. Will most likely be better and fixed by release
It's a bug I heard, they are working to fix on it, if it's not a bug, don't spam planes.
After running several tests on gameplay after the beach assault not only does it not matter about keeping the prior objectives, the enemy respawn around the fort so I wouldn't even fly in that direction.
Really loving the game so far, it's everything I could want and more!
One suggestion for the dev team is for the tall apartment buildings to be divided in half vertically so that we could fight the enemy for roof access to that building.
The jump at 15:18 was confusing :)
You could use the Vipers on the buildings with the surpressing fire mode. I tried it and they absolutely nuke buildings
So hyped for this game I hope it releases fr this year it’s like a more detailed/updated version of red dragon warno was aight but this game seems so cool

The coolest part about world in conflict was the nukes, airfuel bomb and the carpet bombing when playing online. I hope they add similar thing when this game gets released

it would really be nice to be able to play with friends, as one of them maybe in charge of 'logistic and the other attacking

I hope there is some kind of map maker/creator. Imagine the scenarios you could create. This game looks pretty good so far. I don't want to get too hyped but so far so good I think. Only thing I would recommend is maybe add some variation in armored units getting hit by rockets...It seems a bit too easy to take them out.
Editor is confirmed on the creator post in demo, the mission being played was ‘made in editor mode’ and also units will have variants so it’ll be harder to destroy… plus they’re going to have about 300 units at launch
The scenario editor is confirmed. But for map creator, devs can't confirm. They said that the software they use has copyright.

The details of this game look ridiculous. The good kind not the bad kind of ridiculous. The kind that's surely too good to be true. I'm glad yt brought this too my feed, your first clip was the first time I've heard of this game and Im interested too see what the modifications you can make would be like. mostly what you spoke about in the last video with being able too modify the vehicles and aircrafts.
What I wanted to see from broken arrow was a step by step of units or how to ambush tanks etc
I’m trying the demo for the third time and there is no tutorial such as should I smoke them and push with raiders ? Should I just use every single lav available ?

So I've been watching how you play to improve my gameplay because I suck at this game lol. But when it came to the viper team having to dog fight, I dropped them to a low altitude and brought them and the enemies near the destroyer that helped take out the enemy planes. This game definitely needs an auto save. Spending 85 mins in game just to lose cause troops don't run fast enough and have to restart from the beginning sucks.

Kinda fun you can take out most units in the city (and the mlrs) before you trigger the next part by taking the fort. I wonder if that will be possible in the full version
they'll probably make it so that there's more resistance if you do, right now they just kind of sit there and let you chip away at them.
I did that on my first try, it was way easier during the landing part.
It was fun to go through all the map to hunt down units.
I was able to target the MLRS but it didn't show as a unit.
I would like a modern HOI game :)

this game is Awesome today my building explode and was destoyed smoke coming out of it and tanks also smokes alot i like that alot i hope there will be something that make those soldiers and tanks etc that you can adjust it in size bigger would be awesome for me and that's a opinion it's to small after playing the game for hours for the rest i mean GOOD F JOB MAKING THIS GAME iam to 🤪about this game i gonna buy it 4sure the mods that will come gonna be awesome too

Buildings can be destroyed yes. Haven’t seen that for bridges though.

@@crabluva MOWAS2, Wargame red dragon, obviously not warno both are the same, graphic difference, and of course WiC, world in conflict has been my favorite game when it got released, still in love it, i play it weekly but on vacations, everyday.
Hi all. Has one else had issues running the demo? I have the loading screen with sounds in the background, then scenario voice over starts playing but I still have the loading screen. Anyone else have this? This are my msi laptop specs incase they are useful. 64-bit system

someone explain to me how this is different than Wargame or Warno? The mechanics look almost identical. essentially looks like a Eugen systems clone.
Game= we can drop vehicles from heavy airlifters, safely and quickly!

Search for mod east wind
Played through twice but it locked up as the landing party was arriving and after 5hrs of plating that was enough for a while.
Has been excellent but there odd bits and pieces to try and balance still.
It also annoyed me that you set up great defensive positions with all your troops you had and then suddenly when the landing guys arrive everything you've done is basically just wiped so it feels disjointed and the why bother trying to keep your troops alive and resupplied.

@Lee yes for real its called arma reforger its a tech test for arma 4 when it comes out but it is really good an you can download mods that adds even more stuff like aircraft and other modern equipment
Building are not destroyable sadly
Currently in demo, they can be destroyed iirc, but it requires lots of damage.

Personally I disliked the game.
Too much required micromanagement and too many essentially quick-time events.
Imagine playing this game with actual voice commands. 🎉 too early for that yet? Wahaha
