- When you don't know the number of columns you are selecting or the number of placeholders that need binding, you are faced with method 4 dynamic SQL. And the solution to this very generic scenario is the DBMS_SQL package.
This video was taken from PLSQLChannel.com, originally recorded before Steven Feuerstein re-joined Oracle in March 2014.

I love you man. You're a life saver
What privileges does a non-sys user need to access sys.dbms_sql package? I've given debug and execute privilege with grant option but it's still giving access denied error
Hi Steven ,
appreciate your efforts on this tutorial. As a beginer I am expecting a small program that could give me a clear picture how its really working before I jump to this code.
.The videos goes well in the beginning but later it confuses me about the real objective.
Your tutorials on PL/SQL are very good and helped me a lot in learning in PLSQL.I have recommended my PLSQL friends to watch your tutorials. My best wishes to you.
Thanks ,
Jitesh
Your examples are too difficult for beginners..
I am sorry to hear this, Sarfraz. Can you point to anything in particular that you'd like me to cover more simply?
25 minutes of video is too much for this.
