If you put a conveyor after a sorter it will always have the materials in the middle. They will then fall off the end in a tidy order so place a crucible directly after it and the ore will always go in.

Hes running way too high pressure, look at his conveyors, its going insanely fast. He needs to branch them off and have them on their own pressure system.
Actually he should use the funnels because funnels are meant for the smaller ores, the big ones dont work because they are big enough to clog it butvtge small ones are just fine.

Actually the hydroneer dev knows blitz and gave him a game key and blitz just immediately found bugs, so that is basically what's happening
Blitz honestly sounds so tired and exhausted when he plays Hydroneer
As much as I love watching him play Hydroneer,
it still makes me feel guilty that we still want Blitz to play it
Your the first person that I herd say that and you now what I agree with it.
The game has a ton of issues. The dev hit on one really good idea (making all the gold and loot as physics entities is VERY satisfying), but then extended it in a way that doesn't really work very well (making EVERYTHING a physics entity is really inconvenient and prone to bugs). You can see everyone who plays this fighting against the janky physics and poor design choices in pursuit of that satisfaction, which proves Hydroneer has potential, but right now it's very flawed

BLITZ!! Even though we all like hydroneer, I feel like you don't actually enjoy playing the game and that u just do it for your viewers. In general the game also seems very frustrating to play and I can tell you dont like it with how long it takes to do simlle things. TH-cam is a taxing enough job to be constantly doing, but if you dont enjoy what your playing then that means you don't enjoy your job.. and no one should ever not enjoy their job. Overall do what makes you happy and I bet the viewers will follow because of u and your personality, not just the game you play. Please upvote so he can see this

Also to avoid the truck spazzing out with weird objects, hop to the very top of the trunks hood and drop the item into the bed of the truck.

When your magnet took off floating along the path of the conveyor...I laughed so much that it gave me a splitting headache for a few minutes....XDXDXD...ow.
Also, two things I think this game needs....1) an off switch on the furnices, so you can have the crucibles in them but not melt things until you're ready to...and 2) a magnet that can switch between types of materials, so you don't get stray peices of iron when you want gold and vice versa.

watching this game is like watching grandma use the computer while grandpa is calling tech support while your cat meows at 3am in the morning while being on hold for 33 minutes.
I'm glad you finally added a conveyor belt at the end of the line and at the end of the "sorters".
Now if you really hate your life you could do all that, but do a double or triple sorting stage, where the output of the first gold sorter passes through 3 other sorters, where only the second gold stage gets melted, while the other two goes back to the first stage and get resorted.
and you can do that for all the materials so a power of 3 or mathematically 3^x+n where x is the number of steps and n is the types of materials :)
for two stage you'll basically need 12 sorters.
1: 3 original steps
2: 3 sorters for each sorters in step 1 (3³+n) =9+3=12
3: 3 sorters for each sorters in step 2 (3³+n)=27+3=30
4: 4³+3=67
This would in theory refine the "purity" of each bar at the cost of frame rate, but in theory since each sorter is X% accurate because the logic of the game (none) each time you pass through a "sorted" output to another sorter it would filter it more and more, until you'd reach close to 99% accuracy.
Then the developers are going to patch the sorter logic and get it up to 100% and all this time would be wasted :)
also encapsulating the whole thing (top with glass and bottom with conveyor) and only leaving a sport for you to shovel dirt under the diggers would keep most of the spill to a minimal. but that's like several months of work seeing how insanely badly optimized this game is.

There is a mod for that
But you should be able to respawn them some where else like a teleport but it removes them and then they respawn in the bucket you want them to.

What this game needs is a funneled slide like what are at the parks, except it is smaller and intended for the nuggets and gems. That and make the funnels frictionless to prevent clogging.

make sure to order your separators the other way. put the smallest quantity item first, gems or shards and put gold last this will stop many of the slowdowns at the intake of the system. the separator can only move so many items at once so it will run better with gold at the end.

I think it good if you raise the crucible and burner because it the funnel and the crucible would be touching each other at their circle edge Wich would go inside directly
Blitz you need to use the bigger drills to get bigger nuggets of gold the deeper you go (plz like this since my brain is melting because blitz didn’t understand what the description of the Rammer drill) btw the desc. of the rammer drill said it only mined top soil meaning it only gets small nuggets even though you can make it mine the bottom soil

I'd use a conveyor belt that drops into a funnel that is over the top of the crucible. There are no pieces large enough for it to ever clog so anything getting caught on the edges would eventually fall in.
You’re so used to lag, that you would be great at playing warface breakout
Instead of using the metal plates for the ores to go into the crucible, use the conveyors if that’s possible.
I think for the bottom conver should be separated so you can flush any extra stocks back into the system
Blitz if you put a metal sheet on top of the furnace then you put a crucible on that, the crucible will still heat up and you will have a flat surface

To make it better on the sorting system, u could use the steel plates as a funnel down into the ground leading to the cauldron. Just a suggestion
You always want your harvesters and conveyers on 1 water line and all of your drills on another line. The harvesters get the shards(or bars if you smelt them). What happened is when you stopped your machine with all the stuff on the belt, it sticks. With the belts on a separate line you can clear the conveyers after you shut off the drills.

The game should have a "All raw resources (not counting shards) despawn after 10 minutes of inactivity" setting to reduce lag. Like so blitz (and hopefully the dev) can see!

IDEA: instead of using the short steel ramps after the sorters, use a conveyor belt so it pushes it 100% of the time without you needing to unstick all the gold with the magnet stick

Blitz your hydroneer videos are the best
remember you can use y to rotate the t pipes to point up and down you might have to play with the r and t rotations but the y rotation key will make a difference
You can also put a block above the smelting thing not the pot but the fire thing
make a surronding conveyor system for the stray dirt chunks to get grinded up into smaller bits and go through a separate thing thatturns it into metal and then meet back up with the merry go round by the furnaces.
Blitz never get angry get focused and if you want to drop it in the truck just jump
I’ve been using funnels with dirt places at the bottom and it works 50% of the time
a way you could make it so the gold nuggets go into the crucible more easily is do what drae did.
step 1: put a furnace inside of a block.
step 2: put a crucible on top of that block as close to the center as possible.
step 3: put a funnel in the right where the crucible is. and then you are done.
Blitz has forgotten that funnels exist and can be useful
Instead of useing a slope use a Conveyor into a Funnel
