97 I was on 18 30 in kavos behind buzz bar ..got loads pics ! Best holiday ever was when sky was filming. Kavos un covered and future's night club was opening week later we left ..best holiday ever met some great lads from Burton on trent and girls from Notts..met loads people..watch all the videos on your you tube ..but watching kavos brings bk so many memories ❤❤❤❤
Even Panadol Extra in Boots in central London is just over £3 and that’s pricey enough. Wow! Over 8€ that is outrageous! Loving your channel. From Kaz in London.
I remember passing through Benites from the airport to Moratika on a budget holiday in middle of night about 30 years ago. Young people were plastered drunk and getting sick on the streets. Glad our coach did not stop there 🙈

€8.50 for paracetamol! They're taking the mickey with us, aren't they! I wouldn't have paid that either! Laughed when you said the beer did just as good a job! In the 80's, Greek island hopping was the thing and my hubby and I talked about going to Spetses. Those were the days when you could just go and didn't have to book anywhere - you just turned up. One of our female work colleagues went with some friends - they just slept on the beach! Don't know if you could safely do that now though. In 1988 there were no pharmacies in Kavos. I needed cream for my daughter who had prickly heat and the rep went to Lefkimmi which was the nearest village with a pharmacy 😊
A similar thing with paracetamol in Los Chris on Tenerife you can't buy in a shop etc it has to be bought from a chemist. One time I needed some and only one chemist had any stock and that was on the main road out of town towards the motorway. It seems it's classed as a drug out there, not just something for headaches etc. Cheers DougT
Kevin you are blessed in UK when it comes to medication ,it's dirt cheap as it is also 7,8,9 euro in Ireland for paracetamol so if we go to newry just across the border we stock up on tablets from Sainsbury etc so when you say who would pay that price, us eejits in Ireland 😮😮😂

Hi Kavos is mainly full of 17-25 year olds if i was staying on my own i would make sure i was staying right on the strip as some of the roads are very dark. My hotel where i started walk seemed fine but there is a wee walk from strip, no issues with groups but on your own you might not be comfortable.
Outrageous? Of course drugs are more expensive abroad. You should have asked for the Greek equivalent. I have been visiting, and at times , living in, Corfu for 38 years now. Experience teaches us how best to live outside the U.K. That is talk to the Brits who live there. By the way, Kevin, Kavos,( Sidari times 20 maybe), is great. As a pensioner, I took the first bus out of Corfu, which happened to be to Kavos), so that I could get some sleep on the way, there and the way back, and ended up at a pool foam party in the afternoon. Fantastic. Even though it was for the eighteen to thirties age group, I was welcomed, and had a super time. Great for a visit, not sure about a few days though.
I had to buy some remedy’s for man flu. Was giving these sachets in box called kerngrip. Expensive but needs must. Think it was around 10€ Was a proper pharmacy so wasnt like i was getting ripped off 🤨
let me tell you kev i use to live in greece and the cocktails are made of the WORST alcohol that can make you sick ,,and greece went bankrupt because of laziness and greed
First of all increase like in every other place in the world you get what you pay for.. if you prepared by cheap what did you expect. Also don't be a racist against Greece.. I really don't know why people keep saying that the Greece went bankrupt.. look up external debts and you will see that you're probably one that shouldn't talking..

Hi Kavos is mainly full of 17-25 year olds if i was staying on my own i would make sure i was staying right on the strip as some of the roads are very dark. My hotel where i started walk seemed fine but there is a wee walk from strip, no issues with groups but on your own you might not be comfortable.
Kevin first rule of thumb when travelling always pack paracetamol. 39p from Home Bargains. Never travel without them.
