Thanks for the support it's much appreciated mate, you don't need a rod licence in Scotland, we have a few carp/ coarse fisheries, magiscroft, orchill and springwater is my favourite places to fish, you just pay permit on site before fishing and each have there own rules, just ask when you buy permit, hope this helps, tight lines 😁👍🎣🎣🎣
