Thank you so much Jessica, I really really enjoyed watching you create this amazing and awesome painting....I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs too, because I really really love ❤️ the way you teach this art form. Please stay safe and well too
For those who are arguing about the "correct" or "right" way to do this, or what to call it or how to describe it...? It's NOT new. It doesn't belong to any one person. It only recently has a name. And I have been doing this since the very early 1960s. Therapy? Sure! Just for fun? Absolutely! Get yer own lives? PLEASE??? And thank you, Jessica, for posting this!
Oh thank you so much for this!!! I greatly appreciate your comments. I teach public school so I can't get too deep into the concept without risking...who knows what, lol! It is enjoyable, relaxing and usually we end up with wonderful works of art after, that is what I focus on!
Thank you for this video tutorial, you are a great teacher, clear explainations calm soothing manner. I'm going to do this with my daughter. Loved the students drawings, that last one made me gasp in delight!
As a Certified Neurographia Instructor this picture came out beautiful, although the whole Neurographica process is a much deeper process, and a Neurographic line is a thorough process and should be drawn slowly, also the rounding process should be followed by the Awareness Process. and of course many more details. There are 7 steps for drawing a full Neurographica picture, and they all should be studied in detail. But for an Intro to Neurographica your video does a great job!
Oh thank you! I made this a very simplified version for my high school students and it was based on what I could find at the time. I would LOVE to know more and be able to take it deeper, because I very much enjoy it myself, so if you have any resources you could share with me I’d greatly appreciate it!
Agree, what you show is not Neurographic, lines are not Neurographic and what you show is just abstract art. So people, if you want results from neurographic, do it correctly
@@missmayflower author of Neurographic is Pavel Piscarev. I have finished 2 levels ( basic/ user) 2 algorithms and Neurographic specialist ( 6 algorithms) + additional algorithms from level 3. So what you show is not Neurographic, neither lines or concept.
That would be one way to describe the lines! There are all sorts of lines, zig zag, swirly, loopy, jagged...I should have said squiggly lines because that does make more sense, they are definitely not straight!
Hi! I learned this technique through videos I found on youtube after seeing another Art teachers lessons on the subject. This video was made specifically for high school students and is a VERY basic breakdown of my interpretation of neurographic line, from what I was able to find. Do you have any resources you would like to share that would give me a better understanding of the process? I am always open to learning new things.
@@JessJidasArt It's so wonderful that you're ready to learn. There are quite a few good teachers here certified by Pavel Piskarev himself that are teaching the basics. The ones I know the best are: Alina Smolyansky, Lana Shalumov, Anna Denning etc. Please don't get me wrong: every artist can create and teach whatever they like but to call it neurographic it needs to be done the proper way and a teacher needs to be properly certified to teach the method
@@RitaJC Excellent thank you! I did research and talk about Pavel Piskarev when I teach it in class. I will be sure to check out your suggestions, thank you!
Thank you for your concern. Could you please enlighten me as to what in my video is misinformation? I made this video several years ago when there was very little information out there on neurographica ... I also teach public high school and can only go so "deep" into the context and the why behind the concept, but I can teach the ARTISTIC approach and that is what I do. I will gladly take any professional advice you have so that I may provide correct information.

@@Nature_droplet_uk that’s not helpful. You’ve provided absolutely no information, only criticism. Let’s see YOUR video.

You have me confused , is neurographic the sane as.neurographica ...help please
Do you use your non-dominate hand to do the thickening of the original lines? How about the small added lines? Thanks!
Great question! Most definitely use your dominant hand, that way you have the best control to get the cleanest lines!
omg iwatched this vid for art like 1 year ago and look i comented
Damn I’m not even an art person but this is sick
Same they added this video to seasaw
Process. Not end product. But in this case you get both. Beautiful. Thank you!
Thank you!

Idk why but when I hear the word lines I think of straight lines. These seem more like swirls. Swirly lines or squiggles? 🤷🏻♀️

Sorry, darling, that's not how neurographic line is drawn. I would really love to know who taught it this way to you
