    OMG, looking back our Dumaguete palenke, naging tindera ako gulay, panakot, until nag tinda ng isda before ako nag abroad, Nakita ko,pa din mga kasamahan ko dito sa palenke, marami akong memories sa hard work ko dito, as well my cousin, also my sons. Year 1992 nag domestic helper ako sa Singapore Para sa mga anak ko. Our prayers answered God is good. Naka tapos mga anak ko at nandito na din sila sa abroad kasama ko. Have faith palagi to God, and he do the plan. Thank you God for all the blessings. Amen. Thank you also sa nag video nito. God bless you more.

      I live in Dumaguete and I don't miss it, I don't like it here, I"m going home to the USA in July 2024, here no etiquette no morals, Ignorance is everywhere, snails pace waitin in line for long periods, everyone trying to cut the lines, people walk right infront of you, driving is dangerous and reckless, everybody wants to be first, power outages, infrastructure and medical treatment is Stone Age. If you don't believe me come here, wet market has old meat hanging on hooks all day, flies, dust, parasites crawling all over the meat, they call it bouble dead meat, never buy meat products there, food poisoning, diarhea is rampant.

    Pretty impressive market! I wonder why I don’t see guava on any market anymore. Are they not that popular type of fruit anymore?

    Hello. Looks like a great market! Is beef available to buy in the market? How is the price of beef in the outdoor market compared to the supermarket? I like pork, but also beef. Thanks. 😊

    Cebuano ang primary dialect ng mga taga Negros Oriental partikular na diyan sa Dumaguete

    Sure would be nice if they started keeping the fish on ice.. guess it will never happen.. In Thailand common place.

      @@randellt Philippines 🇵🇭 is a much poorer country than Thailand 🇹🇭? So, they can’t even afford ice? Well, I guess it is better to buy meat or fish early in the morning then while it is the freshest.

    • @randellt
      @randellt ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ShikokuFoodForest Yes.. The earlier the better..or if you're in an area with a nice grocery store..of course on ice there-or in a cooler..but the $$$ goes up.

      @@randellt I understand. Thanks! Hey, are you living in the Philippines 🇵🇭? I’ll be on a tight budget when and if I move there. I’m Canadian living in Japan right now and am consider moving to the PHs. From your experience, is it safe to buy and eat fresh meat 🥩, either beef or pork, from the local markets?
