Super Colossal Reels is a new format that has launched with two classic themes: Spartacus and Li'l Red which are clones of each other. I would have liked to play both titles more, but as fate would have it, that was not in the cards so I've combined both into one video!
You win by landing winning paylines on both the Main and Colossal reel sets and like the original, landing a full stack of wilds on the Main reel set transfers to the Colossal reel set. In addition, reel 5 on the Colossal Reel is oversized and may contain multipliers up to 25x and also Progressive Symbols, which are wild and will award the displayed Progressive if used in a winning combination.
Where things get even more interesting is that you may activate the following features, for a cost of course:
Golden Wilds: Any that land on the Main reel set will remain sticky for one additional spin and transfer to the Colossal reel set if fully stacked.
Mega Wilds: Oversized Wild symbols may land on the Main reel set and transfer to the Colossal reel set if they land fully stacked.
The Free Spins Bonus is triggered by landing 3, 4 or 5 bonus symbols for 8, 12 or 20 free games respectively. During the bonus, any wild that lands on the Main reel set will nudge to expand that reel wild and transfer to the Colossal reel set, just like in the original!

the classic versions of these games are much better and pay more but cool video and nice wins!
I would love to try these some more when I can but I of course do love the classics!
All the classics have a better pay table, all the new games just make a bunch of noise and rarely pay out on line hits.
So, I wouldn't say all and at least in this one, you do have your shots as a nice multiplier for me on Spartacus would have been a Jackpot but I don't fully disagree with your main point as many new games essentially increase play time and grind you out!

Hi Tim, so you did it again my friend. A single spin payout of more than 700 dollars in the Spartacus session. Great stuff. The free games could have amazing Tim. If those big reels would lined up a bit better it would have been a easy handpay. These new versions seems pretty cool but the constant overlapping of both screens would annoy me lol. With such a big screen display you would think they can fit both screens 😂
So, it's interesting you say that as when I saw the preview for this one at G2E last year, that was my feedback although at least when playing it, it was less distracting then I thought it would be when I first saw the game!

I won on SPARTICUS big...once in 10 years.. The game is almost the worst in any casino for payouts

I've had some Jackpots on the original and while it does seem to favor medium-sized payouts, it's a far cry from being the worst, IMHO: just think if I would have had a multiplier on Spartacus or a Premium symbol on Li'l Red?! Still, when you do have games such as this where you pay for the extras, the way the game plays certainly can seem weird. Thanks for watching and commenting!
