If you want to make sure your user photo url is correctly loading each time so you don't get the broken image, just enter the following attribute to the tag: referrerPolicy="no-referrer"
This is hands down the best react firebase tutorial I have seen so far. Even today there are no errors or bug. Best part is its a react project and not lot of css. I was looking exactly for something like this to get the logic of basic social media app. Gonna create my own now

I was able to figure out how to limit it to our domain but restricting it to specific access groups has eluded me do far..
Why the name of file main.tsx starts not from capital letter? In react you always wrote component files like Main.js but when you've installed typescript to the project you write component files from lowercase letter.So in react we write component files from capital letter like Main.js and in another hand when we have typescript safety we indicate this stuff like main.tsx - from lowercase letter?

It's the difference between named and default exports. When you import a named export, you have to use the same name, and import it inside curly brackets. When you import a default export, you dont use curly brackets.

Hi Pedro, It's weird, when I try to put a route (video : 9:40), I got an error message saying that the 'main' cannot be used as a JSX component...here is my syntaxe : } . Thank you for your help.
Hi, Please let me know how I can display the user displayName in the profile page when the user logs in with Login and Password instead of google popup? I'm already storing the user data in the firestore > collection > 'users' but I don't know how to query the logged in user name only. The Google sign in method has the name already built in but the log in with email and password doen't.
If they use password and email, you won't have access to the google information about the user, so you would have to add other fields to the registration to get their name!
I did follow everything but seems when I log in and log out later, I cannot log into a different account. It's always the same account that automatically logs in
