we have to ask ourselves why dormaahene, takyimanhene and sumahene are against asante elevating stools in the bono region. A typical ecample is tanoso stool we saw how takyiman people came there. The answer is simple. The Bono chiefs want the other towns especially the non bono people to be under them. Asante promotes elevation and makes chiefs big. whilst the bono chiefs want these people to be under them. they want them as servants. This has noghing to do with bono and asante. Dormaahene and his pwople are diabolic and people in the area shd be very careful. sampa has been witg asante since 1800 same with seikwa, japakrom and others

Asante is a union of a lot of tribes for the sake of war (Asa nti), we have adansi, kwabere, sekyere, amase3, bonos, akyims, ahafo,.etc in that union. Kofi you saying during you interview at Berekum that you don't understand why someone says he is from Brekum in the Bono region but is an Asante , shows that you need to research more on history. Someone in Koforidua can say he comes from Koforidua in the eastern region but he is an Asante. We had Bono Ahafo region which has now been divided into Bono East , Ahafo and Bono region, does that mean any Bono people who are in Ahafo region are no more Bonos. If Osagyefo Agyeman Badu want to turn the Bono region into a union in this ara , Patapaa will not work because he has to battle for those towns with the Asante union. And Asante defends all it territories and members together.
naaa otumfoɔ is not the problem. if you single out otumfo as Kumasihene and his ethernal role as president of Asante regional house of chiefs, then you would not find any problem with him. the problem is the expansion of the asanteman council which used to be the Asante confederation. with that any chief anywhere in Ghana who wants to join can join. it doesn't matter the region you're located. that being in mind most stools which have internal disputes or wish to be elevated quickly run to the council to be member. that is it.
Note true. Western Ashanti was part of Ashanti but for administrative purposes made Brong Ahafo. It doesn't mean its not part of the Asanteman Council
