In the foothills of the Himalayas, which consist mostly of steep slopes, very close to the Nepalese borders, about six hundred years before Christ, a ruler called Sadudhan ruled.
History calls him the father of Gautama Buddha. Buddha literally means knowledge and perfect knowledge. The place where he was born is today in Nepal. Hundreds of miles away from here is the state of Swat in the extreme north-west of the subcontinent, which is in beauty. It has its place and is called the Switzerland of Pakistan
This land of waterfalls and snow-capped peaks and densely forested mountain slopes is spread around the river Swat and the Dharma of Gautama Buddha is not only in India but also in Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, China and Afghanistan as well as Pakistan. It extends from Taxila to Swat Valley
Apart from its beauty, the Swat valley has a special place for Buddhist archeology. It is 14 km south of the capital city of Swat, Saidu Sharif Mungorah, and three km north of Brikot, on the GT Road. A town comes and here a statue of Gautama Buddha is carved out of the rock on the side of the road and it is here that the Buddhist monks built caves for worship, to which now the government of Pakistan has built stairs . It has been constructed so that tourists can reach here easily
The period of construction of this idol is said to be thousands of years old, but the face of this idol is now disfigured. Right next to Ghalegay is a village called Shangardar. Here, a magnificent landmark of Buddhism is a stupa construction of thousands of years old and this stupa belongs to It is from the incarnation of Gautama Buddha because the flowers of Gautama Buddha are buried inside this stupa.
Gautama Buddha is one of the great figures of the world, who has millions of followers. This great person is recognized by Hindus as an incarnation of Lord Vishnuthe Muslims described him as a great prophet, whatever the situation, people have immense devotion to his personality and when he died, to receive his body among his devotees. A dispute had arisen between them. Then according to your will, your dead body was divided into eight flowers i.e. eight parts and lots were drawn and the kings who got the flowers .These kings built magnificent buildings on these flowers, these buildings are called Stupas
Tradition has it that at that time a king named Uttara Sena was ruling Swat, he also received the flowers of Gautama Buddha and when he came to Swat on a white elephant carrying these sacred flowers, and when this elephant came to Shangardar, On reaching this place, this elephant suddenly sat down here and the elephant died immediately and the dead body of the elephant immediately took the form of huge stones. This stupa is considered one of the major stupas of the Indian subcontinent and it is also said that the statue of a saint is seen on the hill north of the stupa and this statue can only be seen by a good and pious person. And this tradition is attributed to a Chinese tourist, Riku Tsanghao, who came here for pilgrimage in the 7th century AD. The total height is 27 meters and the circumference of its dome is 12 meters. The roundness of the stupa is divided into four parts, the design of the lower part is broken and finished, the other part has a circular window-like design, and is formed above it by a comb-like design, which is connected to the upper parts. The third and uppermost fourth sections are separated by a stone circle and it is here that the last part of the gaband was built and the surrounding structures are now completely finished. are usually in the form of towers around the stupas found in Swat. Around the stupa there are archeological structures of the ancient population, but now some modern constructions have also been made by the local people for their homes and Now this stupa is standing helpless without any adequate measures to protect it and this stupa is asking us for its survival.

His teachings and blessings still affect these places with peace and beauty, from swat to Ladakh to south India to Tibet, His worldly name is Padmasambhava, his father is the innate unchanging compassion and mother is the feminine innate unchanging compassion. Aapne jis alphajo se is history ko sabhya lahje me bataya dil ko khoob bhaya. Dusre majhab k aadar se parichay karate dekh ahsas huaa k abhi manwata mari nahi he. Parthians or Pastun or Pathan were Buddhists.

It is no ppint to blame someone, what have your government done with the Babri Mosque? On our side not a single tample has be been demolished and converted into mosque. My parents migrated from Jalandher area (precisely Rasoolpur). There was a mosque there 73 years ago, go and have a look at it. It will open your eyes.
