Years ago I rode my bike through that area. I loved the Panguitch River. Is it fishable?
If it's wet and more than 1ft deep in utah it has fish.
Good times! It was a bit slow with spoons from shore when I went; seems like the bait guys were pretty consistent throughout the day with the lure bite picking up early in the morning/late evening. The active fish were definitely a bit further out but it was hard to stay on top of them in the wind vs my little inflatable.

Looks like I should have tried Panguitch instead of Otter Creek.
I completely understand trying otter Creek though it's been really good there as of late. Otter Creek is super shallow and often requires being out on the water near the campground side or by the dam. The fish hang out near the bottom at otter I know that. Panguitch never lets me down even when it's really weedy I still get into some really nice fish there it takes a lot of time on the water to figure that Lake out but if you go often you dial it in and it's incredible year-round.
What bait worked for you?
Mice Tails usually do great out there, but I use Gulp Eggs a lot too. Try Nightcrawlers if you want to baitfish for Tigers.
