I just bought one of their Black Hunter Recurve Bow's (about 2 wks ago) and I absolutely love it, appears to be quality construction with attention to detail, shipping was fast and got the free bow string wax (for signing up with them) yesterday, Am considering purchasing one of their long bows also, time will tell.
Nice video!! A few years ago I sent my bow to the bowmaker that i bought to reduce the weight too, in my case he was only able to reduce 2lbs, as the bow was already pretty thin near the tips, but it is cool to see the ideia behind this process.
I have a Bear commemorative longbow (one of three different models but all with the same serial number). The finish appears to be in good shape, but the info about the bow has worn off…ie the serial number, draw weight and length. What do you use to put that info on the bow and what kind of clear coat protection over this do you use?
That moment when your son comes into the shop and your reaction to him is "Let's hang out" is so incredibly precious! Good job dad!
