This is a huge problem with identity politics, diversity. We're no longer concerned with content of one's character but by equal representation in any field no matter what. And as far as the scientific community is concerned, it has lost the boldness of scientists of the past, today we're looking for conformity, and conformity is the only recipe that can host this identity politics nonsense.
