Weather should be beautiful end of April, I think the blue sky must be a permanent fixture, it is always like that when we go! (and we always avoid midsummer if we can). If you need it, there is a large supermarket in Ialyssos which the locals use, Sklavenitis. Enjoy your holiday in Rodos!
I have been going to Ialyssos (yal iss oss) for almost 20 years! Yes, we like it! Check out Debbys Bar, also Sports Bar Alkionis already mentioned and Gregory's at the main junction for a pit stop. All the restaurants and businesses can be recommended because they are Greek people! There is a 'little' train here also for a tour of the area, main stop outside Sunshine Hotel, great fun. End of April will probably be about 25°. I am going back beginning of May, end of June, mid August, and hopefully October, did I say we like Ialyssos?
20 years? You seriously need to get out of your comfort bubble and start exploring other countries as well. Just some solid advice, so you don't end up having a narrow mindset.
@@Mike_Hawk1 At 18 I travelled the world in the Merchant Navy, so no I don't need to do that again. Some countries like Greece, the people are just so nice, other nameless countries just produce assholes.
@@Mike_Hawk1 I was in the Merchant Navy and have genuinely visited more countries than I can remember. I found Ialyssos twenty years ago and we fell in love with the place and the people. I don't feel inclined to risk good money looking elsewhere. I have embraced many countries and cultures over the years and Greece does me just fine. Yammas!

Hi, I am currently in ialysos and I have my DJI Mini 3 with me. I have checked drone aware and it says a yellow circle and that we are in the helicopter and aerodome perimeter. Am I allowed to fly my drone at the beach? I have my EASA operator id and certificate with me. Please let me know, thanks

Nice video Zameer. You have to check out the village of Afandou (Αφαντου) and also visit Tsampika Beach, both are on the east coast of Rhodes.
