i got a zygopetalum orchid awhile back and it’s soo easy just grows in my window (pnw so it gets cold out here) and water it when it’s going a bit pale. it’s always pushin new growth and basically every time a new baby plant shows up on it it blooms from them i have 3 concurrent spikes rn and in the little over a year i’ve had it it’s bloomed like 5 times usually w at least 2 spikes at a time! haven’t fertilized at all and she just does her thing and i love the foliage personally
I've always admired your home and your interior design sense, but it feels like your space has gotten so much warmer feeling lately! it's looking great and very homey :)
aww thank you so much!! there was one day i was looking around like "my house looks like a pinterest photo in a bad way" and decided i needed more colour and wanted it to feel more lived in. it's been an adjustment honestly but i've definitely learned to embrace it!
A former nursery had a 7ft Xmas tree with nothing but air plants on it. It was soooo pretty!!! They’ve closed now and I would have to look at all my pictures to see if I actually took a pic. 😢
First of all we have such a similar design esthetic! I also am the extremist w/a whole yucca in the living room! That video was what got me hooked on your channel btw, because I had just recently gotten mine. It’s crazy what just a few changes can make. Everything is coming together and your home looks beautiful. I love the small touches here and there that will create memories for you and your family. ✨💗🪴
This is making me want more airplants...i love them they do not require any substrate ....and like any plant genus some of them are a biishess to take care of...
I just love your space, always have since I started following you a few years ago! The styling, decor, layout, windows, brick accent, addition of color…. All of it! ❤ You could totally redo the numbers on the ticket frame, that would annoy me too! 😂😂 I totally agree with the fountain and sound of water, we luckily get that from our cat water fountain. We actually us a sound machine in the bedroom when we sleep, it’s kind of like white noise. We also like to use ambient sleep music on TH-cam as a little addition. I can’t sleep without out now! 😊 All the plants in the plant room look amazing as well. Idk if it’s the fact that all the plants in the exos are small and the bigger ones are places around, but it looks so good! And the grid wall looks so cool! 🌱
I am always happy to see a new upload from you. I have no luck with air plants. But I do have an indoor fountain but it’s nowhere near “natural” or “earthy” and those origami butterfly 🦋 is what I need to learn 🎉 and can I puleeeeeze see my boy Pudge 🩵
Love that Rhipsalis hanging down. Still waiting to own one in my collection. The Quadrangularis be lovely to do that style aswell. Another wishlist. We had a playpen in the sitting room for my son so easy just to put him inside playing toys and watching tv. While i do my own things cooking housework etc. Sometimes switch to his bouncer aswell with an IPad or his toys. We had the Stokke wooden high chair which goes well with our dinning table setup.
My wreath is red and whir balls with a green metal bow. It also was wrapped in some tiny rice lights that I wrapped around the balls. I turned one to flash and the other steady. But the lights hade died and I can’t get to the craft store to ask if they have the same type of battery operated lights.
Do you spray them everyday? Use the orchid spray every day? I had four and eventually I They all died. I’d soaked them twice a month. Maybe not enough.
