Dead Island 2 is an action role-playing game developed by Dambuster Studios and published by Deep Silver. It is a sequel to the 2011 video game Dead Island and the third major installment in the Dead Island series. Set about 10 years after the events of Dead Island, Dead Island 2 differentiates itself from its predecessors by taking place in the cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco. Yeah, he's one of the og Let's Play TH-cam gamers who doesn't have changes since Day 1. No edits, no facecam, no over the top jokes while talking and still constantly playing many new recent games. Though he's not making curses and swearing while playing due to TH-cam rules. In comparison to many mainstream TH-cam gamers that started out around the same time like PewDiePie, Markiplier, Smosh, Tobuscus and many etc, those "gamers" are no longer actively playing games like they were used to.

I remember the days when I played Dead Island 1 and Rip tide. The "Forest" part of the game was so well made, it always gives the chills even when inside a safe zone. Then entire environment with howls at the background. Man it was intense back in the days. Very well made game. I hope to see something similar in this one too.

For real, I discovered him when he was playing Dead Space 1. I only watched him just to get over my fears playing that horrific game, but a calm youtuber commentary talking at the background and watching him play it felt like I was part of his journey. That was 2011, his videos at best had 10-40k views, with lucky ones with 200k-+400k overtime when his channel was growing with views. But his channel now has millions of sub, boi its crazy man.
I remember watching Brad play Dead island and I was 12 years old, I didn’t like zombies or gory stuff but the videos made me watch the whole gameplay and I got used to it. This let's play is giving me memories from that time.

Does anyone know if it has stupid never ending spawn points? I stopped playing the first one because I like to clear an area, then explore, finding all the goods. This one looks like some elements of Dying Light. Please say no spawn areas.

Been watching this channel for years now since bioshock infinite came out. Going on the journey of fatherhood around the same time as Brad really made me feel a kinship with him. Now expecting my second, I look around and things really are different. These videos snap me back to a simpler time for a little bit.

I was just around 6th grade when i started watching your videos, my favorites were tlou gameplays. Since then i’ve moved houses, got a new dog, got new friends and lost old ones. Man, your Bioshock Infinite and first Telltale TWD playthroughs were my first time coming across your content, back in my late middle school/early high school years. As someone who couldn't afford or was too scared to play certain games (I'm mostly just bad at em 😅) your playstyle/commentary has always been enjoyable and the perfect thing when I just needed something to put on and chill with; sometimes I even go back and rewatch old playthroughs. @loufy Dying Light is much better. It's bigger and is open world. And is getting a huge Quality of life update with better gore and better physics. Dead Island 2 is too canned and restricted and relies on 2 player co-op too much. So the replay is limited.
