Heard this song and testimony many times as a child. God brought it back to me as an adult, cold and shivering while laying on the bed in a psych ward. It took a while before I experienced divine joy, love, and this peace that is unlimited and can never fully be described. To be out of your right mind but come back to it knowing that it is nothing but God's love for you that kept you in your right mind to begin with... You can't help but to say yes to Him. 💖 Never call someone "just crazy"; you never know what demons they are battling and you never know how powerful their testimony will be.
That happened to me i been in psych wards the enemy been after my mind since I was a child this song brought me to so many tears Jesus said he’s giving me back my equilibrium and I have a Job to do

Back in 1993 I was in college, a member of the GOSPEL CHOIR and was asked to lead this song. Although the song had to be taken down an octave so that I could sing it I did. I sang this in rehearsal that night and GOD changed my life that very night. This was the song that GOD used @ that time to minister to me about the next level in him. I was saved but I heard the calling of GOD to greater things and I TOLD him YES from within. MY SOUL STILL SAYS YES. Thanks for this posting

Mississippi Mass choir has added a positive and creative brick to my foundation. The way they wrote their music in the 90's is compared to none. They had and still have a choir full of soloist. They also kept their music simple. they don't have crowded music with a lot of stuff going on. Thankyou Mississippi mass

I promise you God will show up and show out in your situation. Remember God said he would be with you where ever you go. He said if you make your bed in hell I will be there too. The Mississippi mass choir was amazing back in the days and I appreciate the praise and worship music even in 2023! We as black people need God in our lives so much now and forever more, we’re so off the path that if God doesn’t send us a righteous leader that can’t be bought or sold a lot of us are going to be lost in this life and the life to come!

I have loved this song, this rendition for years uncounted. I am not religious, at least I think so...maybe not, maybe so. I am 61 years old and counting the years down to my death. I love the feeling, the soul, the love in this song. I discovered it long ago while searching for a song by the band Yes. I found the Mississippi Mass Choir and 'yes'. My soul says yes, I love this song such a powerful testimony. This is how you have church, I miss old school church. The house of the lord was respected, men represented women, women dressed approximately, coming from a family of ministers this is how I grew up I would not change it at all. I had the love of God, structure and discipline. This is what is missing from the world today. Children know every rap song, but can't recite a scripture.
I remember when choirs would learn this song, they refer to this version always from the MS mass choir! Even still to this day. The lead singer interpreted this song so well.

I grew up listening to and watching the Mississippi Mass Choir. We had every album, even the VHS tapes. I love this choir and many of the songs I've carried throughout my life. This song has always been dear to me. RIP Frank Williams.

Love this song. The godless world via social media and in public try to make Christians look mad or crazy....but when we are obedient and seek Him in tears in a time of crisis, God has no other option but to answer to make it right or gives us peace with the process.

And the part where she said she was in a mental facility and she cried out to the Lord and He gave her back her joy and etc., I wish she said He gave her this song to sing as well. Wow, this music and the Mississippi Mass choir has uplifted my souls for over 20 years. I still feel the same every time I hear this. I grew up in a small town in the 1980s over and had never heard gospel music before. I fell in love with gospel after hearing this song and gave my life to Jesus soon after!
