Thanks for the shout out review speci. There are some changes I'd like to make, but for yesterday I felt really good about the list. It played great but there were times I had too many JIT in my opening hand.
I think what you missed about the Shift Jim is that you can ink, give the 2 drop Challenger and then shift it to have a 7/5 that deals a damage, so it can kill locations very effectively.
Amber/Steel and Amethyst/Steel look interesting and very good. I honestly think shark can be really good in that Ruby/Sapphire list, so many good actions.
I built and piloted the blue steel list in this event. The list is pretty rough, due to card availability since I was actually on vacation in Florida and did not have all my cards with me and had to work with cards from a single Azurite Sea Booster Display. The experience with the new cards from this tournament is a little different from your opinion in that the Jim Hawkins cards are actually amazing. 2 drop hawkins keeps aggro in check at the start of the game, 5 drop hawkins when shifted gets the challenger statline this turn. is already a 5/5 which is huge and can sing al lit of important songs (which mostly were not in the list due to availability). I agree that Wreck-it Ralph is amazing, especially against Amethyst decks with Queens castle and Library. Pleakly was very underwhelming in this configuration and got inked most if the time.
I am for sure as well excited for amethyst steel control this set considering we are getting calhoun and a few other great cards. I dont generally think about shifting Tinkerbell but it is a good play line so maybe with the new 1/3 two lore tinker bell, ill add it in
I think my only problem with Diablo is that it lets you draw off the beginning phase. It really should have been like, "whenever the opponent draws a card during the main phase, draw a card". While I'm not exactly demanding Diablo gets banned, I wouldn't blame them for doing it. He's an engine that works off your engine.
@@pacer2310 When I first played against it- I thought the exact same.. it should be when “opponent draws from a card effect”. So even if you’re drawing extra with Beast, then Diablo should draw only 1. But it should be a way to PIGGYBACK opponent’s draw effects… not just for them taking their turn 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ that’s extremely scummy
I could be persuaded to play ruby for once 😱🤣 Even though I never tried it before, but that ruby/amethyst looks kind of interesting and is kind of calling for me 🤣🤣🙈🙈
Half shark seems extremely strong in ruby/sapphire. Personally I'd run another ice-block, but having the ability to bring back your brawls/let it go along with gaining lore as you scout your deck is very strong in my opinion. My only concern, similar to last set is being able to consistently get to late-game vs aggro decks. I did like the inclusion of gaston last set in that regard.
@@SpeciLorcana i think RB just needs to print better/low cost removal for diablo...doesn't look like they are though. For example, ruby scar could have been cheaper/inkable and a 2/3 so that it could target itself.
How could yky say that. If they ban another emerald card I will seriously quit playing this game. Both Bucky and Diablo have so many outs by so many different colors. I’m tired of hearing people trying to ban just 1color.

I mean he isn't wrong though. Lol. I can get rid of it but with the type of card he is, if u don't have the way to deal with it in your hand you're cooked. Emerald steel is very very strong
100% agree with getting rid of Diablo. He’s horrendous and far too OP. It’s ridiculous!! It’s just not fun to play against, and I don’t think it’s particularly fun to play, either!! Some lovely decks in here though speci, and love hearing your views on them!! Great rundown 😊 thank you!! X
@@RachelLT diablo does not affect the opponent directly it does not disrupt your play. It is a strong ability but it is not like bucky, bucky was not fun to play against. Diablo is just strong and not even the strongest card in game.
@@ismaeltirumartinez1061 While I disagree, to each their own really! Everyone has their own opinion and is able to express it 😊. My play is always affected by Diablo enabling the player to draw an insane amount of cards as it encourages players to play a stupid amount of cards which make you discard. That’s how I think it impacts people, but realistically, banning every discard card is ridiculous and not necessary when Diablo can be fixed, compared to either an errata or ban on Diablo himself. Even just making him a higher ink costs so he’s played later in the game would help, but I honestly think it’s pretty boring deck to play now, too. At first it was fun seeing your opponent discard their hands and you drawing an extra hand by like turn 4/5 but now it’s just… meh. It’s only played so much (in my opinion, of course, because it’s quite easy to win with. But again, all my own views and you’re welcome to have yours and they’re equally as valid 😊.
I will make a whole video about Diablo at some point. Diablo on its own is answerable but Diablo in Hidden Cove is pretty much unanswerable in any kind of efficient manner.
So for the content creators all over why would y’all put y’all’s opinions out there when y’all reach so many people when y’all are making the game unfun when your playing a game for the whole Diablo is not a problem I think cards like Hiram and be prepared and sisu are way more unfair you can be playing e/s and have 15 or more cards in hand and out there Hiram when they play it every time and there’s going to win as long as they fine there be prepared or sisu

A huge plus of the quadruple case tournament from SSG was that it was free entry. SSG is trying to cultivate their Lorcana community

man came one, really ban diablo? there are many card that can beat diablo, most color combinations have at least one card to beat Diablo,
