- The Warning's performance at Foro DiDi in Monterrey, Mexico was a showcase of their second album, "Queen Of The Murder Scene", which garnered attention both domestically and internationally. "Crimson Queen" and "Ugh" comprise the first 2 songs in Chapter One.
The Warning is a rock band from Monterrey, Mexico, consisting of three sisters: Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra Villarreal. They gained popularity through their TH-cam channel, where they posted covers of classic rock songs and eventually began showcasing their original music. Through things like this The Warning prove time and again they are pros and deserve the following they have. The ladies have payed their dues.
Man that mistake on someones part led to an absolutely beautiful moment. From what I understand during sound check the battery on her acoustic was left on and ran down.

Oh! I was so overwhelmed by Dany’s performance I forgot to mention that Pau’s directorial debut ‘Que Mas Quieres’ music video drops tomorrow midday. I have a feeling we’re going to to need popcorn & M&Ms for this one😊

There are a thousand reasons to love these girls. One of these reasons is the mature, confident and calm way in which they face technical problems. This shows the preparation and confidence they have in themselves. Many famous bands that have been on the road for years still don't know how to deal with these obstacles.
I heard that Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins) didn't handle adversity so well.
@@paulrowe006 Billy and a dozen of them... I saw a famous blonde guitarist throw his guitar at a roadie's chest for nothing... I worked at over 300 rock shows sizing and setting up the equipment and there are some lovely people but many who are despicable.
Fantastic show & that ‘Crimson Queen’ is just epic. Leave it to The Warning to turn disaster into magic. & confirms my view that Dany is one of the finest solo A Capella singers in the world. The internet is full of Dany magic. Just this morning I found her singing ‘My Heart Will Go On’ off the cuff while reading the lyrics on her phone. It’s breathtaking.

When you can sing like Dany and Pau, a shaker and Ale’s bass in all you need.
Well, shit happens and what they did with Crimson Queen was Masterful....not even a hiccup...Dany just takes control and basically sings A Cappella, and quite beautifully as well...Talent like this rises to the occasion when needed and man did they ever!!! Love love love this version of Crimson Queen, one of my many many favorites from this Album. You are quite right, many other bands would have stopped and chastised their crew for the issues...they did not miss a single beat...PRO's at the highest level and still teens...one of the simple things that sets them apart from any other bands on this planet....TALENT!!!! Thanks guys for the continuing journey.
i, somehow, had never seen this,, and CQ is a fave for me, to see Dany take control, get the mic, and "get totally into the song' was wonderful

I was just listening to the old great band YES and now I came to listen to the new great band THE WARNING
Without the guitar, Dany (as the girl) sounds so much more lonely, isolated, desperate. Love it!
If the guitar doesn't work, just slay the vocals!
Dany is such a consummate pro. If she didn't have the dead guitar hanging off of her, a casual observer might have thought Crimson Queen was meant to be acapella.
What I read was Dany's acoustic guitar wifi battery was left on after soundcheck hours before& was drained. Wasn't enough power to be picked up to the soundboard. Even though a live mic could of been used to pickup Dany's guitar.
Don't think Dany & Ale had guitar techs at this point. More like stage hands. Both still had to retune their guitars between the songs. Especially Ale with a four string bass. Plus Pau was using a laptop for the images on the screen behind her & the click/backing tracks. That slowed the transition between songs.
In "Crimson Queen" Dany's electric acoustic was left on after the sound check and the battery was drained by the time Dany needed it. The images on the screen behind Pau are from the album art and the rose pictured there is an actual rose called "Crimson Queen." The art work for the album was done by Rudy's sister.
Ale was late to the mic, so she turned to Pau and gave her the smile, "I nearly forgot my harmony part." She was so involved in her performance she nearly missed it.
There are other technical issues they deal with later, but being the pros they already are they aren't phased. Also, Pau breaks 3 sticks in this performance. You already saw one on "Narcisista."

This version of Crimson Queen maybe is the best… the guitar didn’t work, so they focussed on the vocals, beautiful! And a song that starts with Ale‘s bass can never be wrong… nice rocking tune that Ugh is! 👍⚡️🤘
I don't know how I forgot that recorded spoken part that opens Crimson Queen. Ale's checkered top always makes me think of The Specials, the Selector, and 1980 UK Ska-punk in general. A good memory.
I've had the Specials in the back of my mind ever since I saw Ale with that top but I can't pin down why.
@@paulrowe006 yep, Tu-Tone records I think was the big ska label around 1980 and that checkered pattern was on everything, shirts and sneakers, etc.
At some point, being a consummate professional, Dany decides to give up on the guitar and just go all in on the vocals. And boy, did she ever. Even Ale appears to be looking around at the end like WTF, sis?

I think when Ale laughed she went to the mic as if to sing and realized she shouldn’t.

There will also be technical issues on Stalker. Dany's microphone by the piano doesn't work, so they use the one from her mic-stand. Someone has to hold it for her and then put it back on the stand when she starts playing guitar. It's crazy but Dany comes through like a pro.

Probably my favorite performance of Crimson Queen. They had a sound check earlier in the day and the battery in the guitar was left on and died. So damn professional!!

@@SDsailor7 That's what I meant. Have you seen the one where Ale's bass guitar strap breaks and she balances on one leg while she holds the bass up with the other leg for most of the song? So damn professional!

Pau and Dany both ackowledge that Ale is the time keeper . . .saying its scary . Especially in situations like that . . She is the metronome . . The click .
Same thing hapened at the VMAs . No clik . They followed Ale .
The Warning teatro Nacional February 6 2025 is sold out! 10K capacity, they will probably will need to add another show.👍❤️❤️❤️ I am happy for them.
Correction: Auditoria National. Pau posted a short video commenting that the show was sold out for next year.
It was sold out in just one hour...I tried to buy tickets and I couldn't, the page was overloaded I think.

Apart from the fact that Dany did a masterful job of pulling off the song, the guitar tech should be fired. Mistakes happen, but he wasn't even able to change anything about it for the whole song.
The moment was cool where Dany probably thought to herself "f... the guitar, I'm going to do completely without it."

Not to correct you but Ale' never makes a mistake. She was laughing with Pau because she had to quickly rush up to the mic to sing her part.
Not having the guitar made it seem deeper ,more solemn . . More . Earthy . Sort of . If that makes sence .
