Damn!!! That was rapid! Such a great mission and played really well! Played this mission the other day and took a beating as marines. Really appreciate these great b.r. simple but really watchable.
@@wanntime1894 Cheers! As mentioned elsewhere, credit has to go to the Space Hulk community for suggesting the tactics employed here! It’s an absolute howler of a mission for the Marines and if I’d adopted the Genestealer tactics outlined at the end of the video, perhaps the Marines would still have failed. Even though I was trying to win, I am pleased to have managed to capture on camera this win as I doubt it will happen again any time soon! Man, the marines seemed to be two steps ahead in every part of that! I suppose that’s the way it goes, but they did get lucky. Judicial use of the (admittedly spawny) CPs and flamers made it look like a cinch. Great fun as always, and thanks for uploading! One other thing, that playmat looks awesome, it really makes the board pop
Thanks again! Yeah, as mentioned at the end, I’d already tried the same tactics 3 times over and still got wiped out every time! Most of these missions were shot twice over and I only edit the one that is the best battle, so that probably tells you a lot about how quick and disastrous my defeats were! 😂 I’m glad you like the playmat, it probably would make more narrative sense to have the corridors mounted on a grey base representing the ship around it but, I agree, I love how that map catches the eye so I went for visual impact over grungy realism! ~ Gordon
