If you hold down when you fire out of the cannon, you can decrease the distance you fly by quite a lot. Normally stopping you if it looks like you are going to fly off the edge.
A very good escape move that you didn't mention: When you double jump with Ripper, then hold the jump button, you will do the high jump. Now activate cannon at the highest point. Nothing should be able to reach or knock you out of this...except maybe for Catbat, but ascending to you should take way longer than firing the cannon.
I don’t think he’s that hard to play. My strat is that I stay in range with my team while also collecting wumpa and relics. He’s more fun to play than other characters. And considering that he’s my favorite crash bandicoot character, he’s going to be my main.
I haven’t gotten Ripper Roo just yet due to the fact that I didn’t have any internet connection at the new house over the last couple of days. Now that I have access to the internet, I should be able to unlock Ripper Roo in no time.
I unlocked him in less than 3h, while doing a break in between. Btw, don't let the game fool you: It shows you a limit of getting 5 marbles per day. That's buggy, you can get all of them with no time limit. There's always one per map, specificly for you, no one can take, steal, nor even see it. Developers also stated that they will not fix this, guess that would kill of the hype and activity.
@@dassagichkeinem4454 you are mostly right but the marble in each match is in the same location for at least some people and more than 1 person can take it. I've seen other players run through the exact spot. Also when I started the game with my friend, he always told me exactly where the marble was if he found it first. Obviously overall this is a good thing because it means everyone else can still get it too
in my opinion ripper roo is not hard to learn I master him after 1 match I have BLOCKED the whole enemy team by myself as ripper roo and won He can combo anyone Ripper roo is overpowerd I would not be surprised if he got buffed but i would be sad

This is great! I find him harder mainly because he can do soooo many things, that he isn't as simple to fully utilize
