Im not as good as you, but i think a good way to return is buying time to get in position and never give the cross court option, you can buy time just starting one or two steps back and mix between slice and top spin. mixing up the shots to try to screw their timing can work sometimes too...
Thanks, yeah these are good ideas. Only issue is that if I take steps back while my opponent is doing wide serves, I have more ground to cover now which may be tough to recover from. I do need to switch it up sometimes though.

For builds I would personally just experiment with all types of combos to see what’s best
Even if u don’t like the play style I would still recommend you play with it to get a understanding of how the style works and to just better advance your iq of tennis
But this game is like topspin 4
If I had to guess your playing style your more of a baseline player type so a defense type build would seem good for you
Topspin master ( which adds insane rpm on the ball which will push people back )
Poised slice which makes your slices a lot lower
And maybe solid defense
Idk how the build system works but that might be a very good combo for you

I use poisoned slices at the moment. I should just increase my speed a lot for next build to counter the opponents 1-2s. Thanks!

It seems like wide serve and cross shot has an almost 90% win rate, why don't you use wide serve more ?
It is really effective. I don't like doing it as much because it feels cheap to do over and over. I guess I need to though to win more
Try to return with a long slice control shot. That gives you time for positioning. I use control shots most of the time in general.

How do you aim the easy serve in the place you want?
A simple touch on the left analog stick makes the aim go too far to the corner, making a mistake. It seems so easy in yours, what's the secret?
It takes a bit of practice but I just move the left stick super slowly. If you flick it then it goes too fast. It just takes some take. It took me awhile to get the hang of it
i played a lot and very good top spin 4.. i wish that next game would be less "bugeable" but no.. this 2025 its exactly the same.. also with 30 points on serve it must be TRASH but they are hitting aces... they are doing non stop 1-2 with 30 points on serve... what a disappointment..
Exactly, 30 serve needs to not be so good. Once they fix this, everything else will be more balanced hopefully

@@close7 oh, increasing serve points definitely increases the chance of aces. It’s just that 30 serve is too good of a baseline and so the marginal benefit of increasing serve is not really worth it in the current stage of the game.

Oh no! There should be a list of objectives in the bottom right when you are in career mode. You need to complete all of them to go to the next level.

Literally everyone I play against lmao they are the ones scared to rally, which happens to be the best part of the game
Lol, just cause it's pretty much a guaranteed way to win points in this game. People do it in real life but not at the frequency done by people in this game since you're usually hitting to your opponents forehand.
And in this game people aren't just wide serving, but they're slicing it wide which makes the returner reach out so far off the end of the court that it is tough to come back from.
I tried the game at the free weekend my friend and it is actually quite fun and almost realistic gameplay but of course only level 10-15. It is really shit this 90+ power skill. They need to decrease its effect on overall gameplay. Otherwise 95+ level power with only flat shots are not a tennis gameplay.
Yeah high power does make it feel a bit too arcadey. There is a new update coming that’ll hopefully balance things out

Return down the line, make your opponent move which also gives you time to move. So if you’re in the right box. Aim Analog right and throw a flat shot….
Ideally: Opponent serves… return on line…. Hopefully the opponent chases… and it gives you time to get over…. It works sometimes.

Is there algorithm scam in game? After winning first Set, perfekt Timing balls weak, and Stammbaum of opponent is empty, but running a Power no Problem. Account scam with algorithms.
