Me too! That finale with them on the train was fantastic! The writers shouldn't have ruined that for their fans; but then, there had to be an explanation as to why JP and Craig separated... Guess we'll have to wait and see how this goes.
Floridian here. Found Stendan through my obsession with Deniz and Roman on Allez Was Zaehlt. IN the suggested vids line up, there was Anthony Langford's channel and Brendan as its avatar, so I clicked, and whoa. Emmett was like sex on a stick. Like, he's a stick, they dunked him hot boiling sex, then put him on TV. And he was a bad boy to boot? OH Yeah. I had to watch after that. Over two years now. *sigh* And I can't believe - won't believe - it's almost over. *cries*
It's good to know what the writers had to do to re-write the history of JP and Craig, even if I don't like what they did... It'll be good to see where the JP story line goes from here. Someone commented that he and Doug would make a great couple -- I agree!!!
Uhm~ im just gonna go and watch their last memorable scene at the train station? Mcdean held such a wonderful story in my head~ im not prepared at all to be bombarded years later with their breakup. This is just like chrolli all over again with the separation stuff. Hopefully, they get back together again...
I'm sad :(. Yeah, we are supposed to believe it but I don't think that it is the whole story. . .somthing just isn't right about the whole thing. . .Craig was not always the most stable of characters but when he came back to town in 2008 and took JP with him it really appeared that he had matured and he WANTED JP more than anything in this world. . .
Lol...people sure do remember Craig differently than I do. Sure they had a happy ending but it was quick. Craig was always tripping about being gay but he always admitted his love for John Paul. Men walk out on families all the time gay or straight. I can totally see Craig not being able to handle the whole family thing.
I have to say this: as much as I love Ste and several of the other characters on the show, If Brendan's not around I won't be watching. If they break up Ste and Brendan but Bren's still in the village, I'll be right along watching, but if he's not on the show? At all? *sigh* I'll be stuck with rewatching ESF's vids to get my Brendan fix. *cries*
well said, they are going to make it all Craigs fault but the story JP told gave JP part of the blame for the break-up. It sounds like JP was the one that had a problem viewing Craig as gay, and was jealous of his female friend at work. . .sounds like Craig was the one being pushed into a domestic situation he did not want.
So is John Paul telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? At this point I think we can't be sure. It certainly sounds like we're supposed to believe his story, whether we want to or not. Whatever the truth is, it's sad, and I feel sorry for John Paul and the baby. I even feel sorry for Craig in a way. People suffer from their own immaturity as well as causing suffering in others.
i hope the storyline will be reversed...when JP give up for their relationship and Craig come back to take back his love again but JP say no...hahaha...btw you say JP and Doug...i think that too sweet but thats Ok :))
so let me get this straight, craig is still as indecisive, unreliable and cowardly as he's always been yet your all suprised that mcdean didn't last? craig never did anything to say to jp that he was 100% committed to him, not even when he came back for him he was still on the fence with his sexuality. alot of us need to stop being mad at the hollyoaks' producers because this storyline might be the most continuity that they've ever shown pretaining to a storyline.
Well, I'm going to be the minority opinion but that's okay. I never really liked Craig. I thought he was a coward. He wanted John Paul, but he seemed afraid of admitting that his wanting made him gay. He had to go away to Dublin to 'grow up' & decide he wanted John Paul. He came back to 'stake his claim' when John Paul was w/ Kieron. Blech. He was all, 'I want what I want when I want it and I'm not listening to your protests!" Seems like he was still that way 4 years later. Hmph. Good riddance.
when um gonna c brendan and ste storyline... cant wait to c how brendan's father's secret get exposed. and the so called father get slapped by everyone

"He ment everything to me...I loved him so much..." Oh god...
the vid isnt working for me :(

I don't think Craig would do this but I do think this is a great storyline for John Paul.
Thank you,
Is it just me or does the video not work?

I don't know why but for some reason i think another actor (Not Guy Burnet) is gonna come back as Craig, or maybe is just me?

JP and Doug. I like this couple :))

same here.....
I'd preferred for JP to stay the hell away from my Stendan boys :/ Do I make myself clear????:)
John Paul I know crying all the time why are the writers making Craig such coward all the time im so missing Brendon and ste
Omg I'm missing the old JP & gang now... Nancy, Craig, Sarah, Hannah.. Sighs. Haha
Wouldn't it be hilarious i've they brought back Spike!?
Heh, it's not real remember. :-) This was just written this way because Guy Burnett didn't want to come back.
i hope the storyline will be reversed...when JP give up for their relationship and Craig come back to take back his love again but JP say no...hahaha...btw you say JP and Doug...i think that too sweet but thats Ok :))

Uh oh, baby mama drama.
Nancy that's great advice but I honestly don't think it'd go through to Craig he's just so damn ignorant
JP AND STE!!
i wanna marry him.
