Elephants always look like they’re smiling, love them - this baby is so cute, all baby animals are!! BTW, Thank you for giving mama & baby their space!
You mentioned the mama elephant's name is Wendi...she was rescued and brought up by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and one of their greatest success stories which explains why she's comfortable around humans. This could be her 4th calf!
Pure joy! Thank you for sharing these mini packages with us. Love the still photos at end to sum up the story. Round of applause to all on SafariLive Team!
Tayla wasn't paying attention to mum's tail when she began loudly laughing at the baby (and the mum had already defecated - ruled out). Love Tayla but she can be ....weapons grade perky. She's a GREAT guide! Love the video; felt bad for the ellies because of the flies.
Awwwwwwwww. Isn't it gorgeous to see mummy animals with their adorable babies. Also the way she/he went over to the other 🐘. Maybe she was nanny or auntie 🐘 I know the females all stay together and help raise the babies. Kind of like human families, I guess.

Machine Gun Nest Ivory trade and circuses are horrible. They should be banned all over the world. It's hearbreaking to think this innocent animal is being so abused.

Love hearing Tayla’s voice again. I miss her personality. I wouldn’t describe her as perky as one commenter opined - I think she’s candid and slightly sarcastic in a good way. Also I love the music chosen for these mini retrospectives.
shanmuga priya K I talked to my friends and they feel it's ok to agree to disagree. I must go and do what they told me for my adult continuing education.in other words I'm smarter than you give me credit for.
LOL...you don't know much about SafariLive do you? Nonstop talking is their concept. 6 Hours a day. But I agree with you...nature's sounds are the best. That's why sometimes I mute the guides. Because I can. ;)
Where was this? And what is your job? If I could see beautiful sights like this every day I do it for free. I’m so grateful that there are so many protected places for them to keep them from human harm. This little baby won’t be able to eat anything for a couple years. She’ll be nursing for a long time. This is so precious and beautiful. Thank you for recording this. 🤍🐘🤍🐘🤍
Hi @ChooseCompassion . This was at Djuma, Sabi Sands South Africa. I was a long time viewer of the daily live safaris. It's a TV show now, WildEarth TV. You can watch two times a day. Sunrise and sunset. Free on TV with ads, or become a member. Links in their bio here: th-cam.com/channels/V6HJBZD_hZcIX9JVJ3dCXQ.html
The baby elephant looks like it has a deformed leg. Typically, if the baby elephant is deformed, the mother expels it from the herd and it dies a slow, painful death. Interesting to know if this baby was offered up by the mother as a lion's dinner and then decided to get pregnant and try again.
is the mom actually eating at the end or just pretending to? I know they do that sometimes- I forget what it's called. It looks like she was just pretending to eat there at the end.
Displacement feeding for sure and she was swinging her leg. Both signs of thinking. Is it safe or not? Should I walk away or stand my ground? Flight, fight or relax?

Mom looks so relaxed. Her eyes are pretty. Sweet baby just doing it’s thing. Love them.
Yes, I noticed her pretty eyes too
A most carefree baby and a most caring mom , god's most beautiful creation.
Wonder mummy elephant and baby! 🥰🥰
Loved how you kept up the soft tone and positive energy, as most animals do appear to respond to energy....💕🇬🇧
Aww the baby scurried over to the other elephant mackin out on that tree-- just shows us more that theyre social creatures😍lol so sweet

madre hermosa con su hijo.
Nice
I think we should capture these wild elephants and walk them through cities and then re release them back...so they talk to themself and evolve
If u really think about it and watch how elephants live and think of us and all we do... we really are a disgusting species

Meraviglioso quadretto famigliare, ma per il piccolo, la mamma E' " SEMPRE LA MAMMA".

Have you ever considered that you speak too loud? It's not necessary, we can hear you.

For some reason this video doesn't play for me, i can hear the audio but not the video? I've come back to it a few times thinking it was just a fluke?

Bright Night, it doesn,t play for me either, I thought something was wrong with my pc.
Just give some banana or fruits then they will be friendly
Would enjoy watching video without the woman talking
Too bad...it's her job to talk. It's a presenter of a live safari.tv show.
Shamimkb
too much yapping
bigdaddykurt too much typing
Get out of their way.
AS LONG AS YOUR PRESENCE STOPS POACHERS OR TROPHY HUNTERS YOU ARE USEFUL . YES ITS CUTE TO SEE PHOTOS. BUT THAT IS NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT.
I agree but please don't use CapsLock.
God this woman irritates me!
I love you too!
lady .... please QUIT TALKING !
That's how SafariLive works. Complaints here: wildearth.tv/contact/
